It would be good to hear everyones opinion of their own memories of the best ever one liners in either Emmerdale or Coronation Street. Over the years there have been so many of the cast saying these funny little quips. One of my best ones was when Richard Hillman confessed to his crimes and Gayle called him Richard Bates with a briefcase or something similar. So very funny, has anyone got any more?

Sorry to be picky but wasn't that Norman Bates?    Apropos Richard Hillman I still smile when I think of Maxime's line as Richard walked towards her with a crowbar "what are you doing with that crowbar Richard" (or words to that effect).

I've quoted quite a few already on other discussions so I won't regurgitate all of them - many from the past few weeks alone - although one of my favourites from the last few weeks has to be Becky's when Violet is being irritable with her.  Becky to Ken "slapping a pregnant woman ain't good is it".  Oh & Friday's line from Liam after hearing Steve's worries "and do you want me to say stuff back". 

I'm sure there'll be plenty more in the weeks to come so I'll keep posting as and when I hear them (or until people get fed up!).

On a more poignant note Jack to Vera's ashes "you don't know what I'd give to have you talk back to me now".

i think steve does but i have to say carlas are really good wen she is slagging off maria like wen liam had that accident in the lakes and michelle was tellin her the dog got off and carla sed wot so ozzie and liam went to look for her and also wen she was talking to tony in the resturant and she sed just been talkig to daffy duck lol i thurt dey wer well great lol and also not maria and carla related but carla related wen tony came to take her out for dinner and she said arrr mi knight in shinning armani i loved dat nd i say it all the tym now lol
