I heard that some of the people weve lost recently might be returning in series 4.

Is this true and how do u think theyre coming back?

and hopefully james murray (stephen) might have gotten over the loss of his daughter. he may return to the series... maybe

but nick probably wont be returning, unfortunately, however much i'd love him to, really would LOVE him to, dougie decided to leave. who knows though?

he may find Danny, kill him and return through the anomaly with series 1 version of claudia and stephen? now that would be bad writing!!!

And don't forget Capt. Ryan! It seems they like to have our suppport to bring the series back but they seem to ignore what many fans would like them to do - bring back the characters we like! Like Capt. Ryan!

In a show like Primeval, all things are possible, aren't they?

Do we know if Stephen really did die? Maybe Helen created an anomaly and rescued him in the nick of time!We know that Nick died, but we also know that it should be possible in theory to go back into the past and alter the future - after all, Claudia became Jenny in a different version of evolution. Maybe Dougie could be persuaded to come back for a guest appearance at least! And Jenny decided to go, leaving the door open for Lucy to return, surely?

Much as I love Abby and Connor (and also really like the character of Becker), I miss the original team, including Ryan. How great would it be to have the originals teamed up with the newer characters, maybe in a huge series finale?? Almost too good to hope for......

I thought that too, maybe thats why Helen looked so unconcered....Conspiracy!

But did Nick actually see him die?

Who knows?? It was never made totally clear, as we the viewers didn't see it!

And even if Nick did see him die, the logic about going back into the past and altering the future still applies, surely? (Even if it hurts your head when you consider the possibilities.... ouch.... !)

Hmmm, Juliet Aubrey said shed like to return as people 'Cant really die in Primeval'....makes me wonder....

I can see them changing the timeline by killing Helen, maybe she made the anomalies in the future and killing her sent it all out of balance and random people lived? Just a thought! Id love to see them remember Clauida!

That's an interesting thought! If Helen made the anomalies in the future, and is killed before she could make them, then the anomalies would never appear. But then none of it could have happened. So Helen's death creates a paradox, which the universe cannot allow, so Helen can't die... I love time travel!

I don't want to lose the idea of Claudia, because that event defines Primeval -  some totally innocuous incident in the past rippling down affecting everything in subtle ways. It makes a simple story incredibly profound and mind-boggling. I want them to bring back Jenny, because she's a big part of what made the show and she keeps us connected to the Claudia story. I also think she was a far better leader than Danny!
