    Nikhil... there's a heart there

I have liked his scenes with Laurel and Faye lately. They are the only two who he talks to like human beings rather than talk down to.

Wonder why he has no love interest on the horizon...

I have a feeling Faye could be persuaded to be quite fond of him.

I find it rather unlikely that two young, good looking and successful men would have no wife or girlfriend on the scene although it is looking likely that Jai will end up with Birdsnest bonce.

I think Nikhil and Faye would make a good couple.

The writers seemed to have forgotten about that since the return of charity

It does look like a stupid and very rushed re-write doesn't it?

He realised Faye was just using him to make Mark jealous and dumped her!

Problem is that his brother is acting him off the screen.

Could this be Faye's new love interest?

PS: for goodness sake do not let them have an Uncle like Dev's in Corrie.

Chris Bisson is certainly the better actor.

After last night, I wonder whether we will eventually see the father, when he returns from his world cruise will there be a role for him? If he is Umed in disguise I hope notWink

Cain would never give up that easily on a woman or the opportunity to find out what Mark is hiding and yet he has. Also, I think Nikhil is played by a fine actor.

What a BOMBSHELL!  Poor Nikhil.  You can see why he can't make the big time  -  too obsessed with wanting to prove himself,  show who's boss.  He doesn't seem to grasp the fact that it's money that buys whisky (to quote my husband) and tends to want to make decisions to massage his own ego, rather than what is in the best interests of the company.  In business, some people have flair, but most people don't, and generally it's flair that turns people into millionaires. Nikhil works SO hard, but he just doesn't have  entrepreneurial flair, and Jai has it in shed loads.

I think he and Faye would make a nice couple. Least he hasn't got greasy hair and hung up on his cousin.

Funny you guys should say about Uncle Umed considering the actor who plays Jai was in Corrie playing Dev's cousin, Vic- meaning Uncle Umed and "Jai" are actually related funny enough!

You make a good point! In fact if he was Dev's cousin then Uhmed could indeed be his DadSurprise
