Aveli, perhaps you could confirm, in plain english, exactly what the point of your post was!

I think it was in frustration at having a post deleted by the mods.

red troll posted something that avelli took offence to and avelli's reply was deleted along with red trolls. I'm not sure the deleted posts were part of this thread because avelli posted that inconprehensible post on 3 different threads.

    Hope that helps

sorry to have caused so much confusion but i had several of my post deleted. i normally receive emails explaining who deleted them and why they were deleted but not this time so i concluded that they weren't being deleted by the moderators but by someone who couldn't be bothered to challenge what i wrote and deleted them.

that post as you noticed on other threads was meant to provoke the perpetrator to respond, i guess there isn't one. it must have been the mods at work.

    Well that's that sorted then.

I quite liked it, didn't fully understand it but liked it none the less, and was toying with the idea of randomly pasting it into threads just in case it somehow turned out to be relevant Big Smile

Well aveli, you wouldn't believe it.  I wrote a perfectly harmless post to you, in reply to this one of yours.  I said that I'd had posts not accepted with no reason given, and also that I had answered posts which were subsequently deleted, so that my answer was left looking senseless.  Can you see anything objectionable about that, because I can't.

But the mods didn't accept my post.  Yet at times I've seen others get through with what I thought were rather questionable things on them.  So how can anyone tell what is acceptable to the mods?  Maybe different ones have different ideas.

that's pedekay, i don't understand hoe they come to decide to delete some and not others but i can imagine they have a tough job as they have to go through thousands of post in order to decide and it is not done by one person, each one has their own tolerances. looks like we just have to hope they don't delete.
