    Re: Grumpy woman

Aww hope jade is ok and they leave her alone!!
Obviously this lad is rather huffed (pride and all that) at being turned down by Jade (i've seen her pic and she's a very pretty girl) and is out to cause trouble! I've seen things like this happen many times when i was younger and usually they just blow over. Obviously this girl feels threatened by Jades looks and wants to warn her off.....hopefully she'll realise that jade doesn't want anything to do with her "loser" lad!

I hope it's all sorted soon!

    Re: Grumpy woman

i completely agree with wat elise1 has said about the situation jade has found herself in! hopefully it'll all blow over soon.

my dog started 2 bite her fur off yrs ago and we found out it was 2do with stress! it was durring the time that my mum and dad were getting divorced and there was alot of arguing and shouting going on here, but since my (horrible) dad has left she has never bitten it off since.

hope that helps, but let us no wat the vet says xx

    Re: Grumpy woman

Thanks for your comments elise, and I've tried to say to Jade that's what I think it is too, I've seen a pic of the girlfriend and she's very boyish looking (not that I'm knocking the girl in any way, just that I think it is a jealousy thing) . Jade still hasn't been out :( and is starting to worry me as she's turning down offers to go out with her closest friends, and I think it may cause problems with them too soon as they might get fed up of asking. I just wish this would all get sorted soon, as she can't spend the next 6 weeks stuck indoors - it's not healthy, and even if she does manage to 'hide herself away' what happens when she has to go out to get herself to school in sept ? Oh I don't know what the answer is, I wish I did, but I just seem to make matters worse everytime I ask her is she going out or what she wants to do each day !

As for Zak (my dog) the vet said that it was his 'anal glands' and they needed draining, he muzzled Zak, stuck a tube up his bum  and drained them, then gave him an injection, he did say they might fill up again and if so he would remove them as they are no use anyway. He also said Zak was chewing because the full glands would have been bothering him and that he'd gone bald because he's got dry skin, so he also has to have an Evening Primrose capsule every day too !

So at least one of the problems is sorted, just need to find a solution to the other now

    Re: Grumpy woman

I forgot to say that Jade (who isn't normally this intimidated by people) is so worried because the girlfriend and her sister are the type who wouldn't think twice about 'seriously damaging' someone, eg - throw a brick at someone's head

I think that's why I've worried so much about it too, as normally I just wait for things to 'blow over too', but apparently these two girls just don't give up when they have a 'problem' with someone.........god, if I could get my hands on the lad that started all this

    Re: Grumpy woman

Hi Mosaiq, really sorry to hear this about your daughter, the poor love. These bullies have no clue what their throwaway remarks can do to people  Just for Jade to make that 1st step to go out, it would really make her feel in control again. Making her see this is even harder. These types have a very short attention span, so i'd say they'll soon move on to their next victim. At the end of the day, there's nothing you can do except be there for her, which you are, she's a lucky girl to have a mam like you ;)

Regarding your dog, when we had our lab, he had dry skin and i gave him a drop of olive oil in his food to moisturise him as well as evening primrose, took a little while but did the trick. Hope this helps :)

    Re: Grumpy woman

i am very sorry to read that Mos about Jade, my Mel had the same thing and i do think it is jealousy , i can only say that keep supporting Jade and get the phone nos of the parents of the btchs , i did and made them aware of the lovely darlings they think they have, they will, of course deny it, but you must make it open, its very hard i know , you will see they come in a gang but wait till you get the ringleader and have a few words with that person and the parents, Jade is not a victim, its the people who do this need help, keep her head up, and you too x

    Re: Grumpy Woman Thread

Why can't dog owners  put corks up their pooches bums when out in public?  My street is used as a dog loo by neighbours living in the next street. I have taken to picking it up with some redundant bearbeque tongs and placing it lovingly on their doorsteps. They don't seem to apreciate my  wish to share!
