    Have re-potted a........

Well, I now have 27 cucumbers and the biggest one is about 3 inches long, and the 'prickles' seem to be going now too, the plant is also throwing out 'tendrils' like a sweet-pea plant does, and is latching on to everything in sight lol, which I'm pleased about to be honest as I was beginning to wonder how the plant would be able to stay upright with 27 cucumbers hanging off it lol :D

Now I just have to hope they all survive !!

You have any cucumbers on yours yet Larry ??

Yours is doing better than mine. There are plenty of flowers and the tendrils are there which will hopefully attach to the wire frame behind it.
Mine's outside but is being fed regularly .
Shame the slugs and snails ate the other two.

But last time I checked there wasn't any cucumbers yet ,sure it won't be long before they start to appear.

Well, I now have 1 huge cucumber, and loads of tiny ones, not sure if the others are going to get any bigger or not, they don't seem to be growing at the moment, but I might pick a few off anyway, and see what happens to the rest then !
The plant itself seems to have taken over the greenhouse lol, attaching itself to every part of it with its tendrils, good job it's only a small greenhouse !

I hope you have one or two decent cucumbers by now Larry :)

The plant is at least two foot high now and cucumbers have started to appear. They are still very small though. I think it's time to feed the plant again.
There are still loads of flowers so there should be a lot to come ,we just need more sun.

I guess it's the different from being outside to being in a Greenhouse ?

As the wind knocked the plant over this morning I had to tie it to the frame behind it. Whilst doing this I spotted a Cucumber around 4 inches long hiding at the base of the plant.

:) Glad you have a decent sized one coming, mine seems to have slowed down now, and where as I thought the others weren't going to come, there is now one which is only slightly bigger than it was before, but it is now looking slightly 'shinier' than it was, so hopefully that one will come too ! The main one is looking really good now, lost all its 'prickles' and smoothing out nice and shiny.
Mine's only still in the greenhouse because I don't really have anywhere else to put it where the dog won't piddle on it !! But the door is open most of the day so it's not getting too hot in there, not sure if this is doing the plant any good or not, but I've not got much choice really, never mind, it's doing ok at the moment so that's fine by me :)

Since the temperatures have improved mine has definitely grown another 6 inches or more.

I think the extra warmth of a Greenhouse will only help it grow.

In the advertising mine said the it was resistant to all the normal diseases that affect Cucumbers ,was capable of being grown outside ,and it was possible to collect seed from it.
I can't tell you the type it is as the seed came off eBay. Think the seller referred to the seed as 'Dave'. Long story which I can't go into as the post will get deleted if I go into the claims of the seller.

One thing they need is plenty of feed right now and Tomato feed works well. I'm also told that in hot weather you need to spray the leaves.

I was wondering how long they kept their spikes for as they look quite fierce in their original format.

Yes, the spikes are quite nasty aren't they  But mine seemed to lose them once it got to about 3/4 inches long.
I've noticed this morning that about 6 of the others are now starting to grow, whereas they've stayed about half an inch long (ish) for weeks now.
I'm glad you said tomato food as that's what I've been feeding mine, so at least I know I'm not doing too much wrong.
I'm interested to hear you can collect seeds from the plant, will have to keep my eyes open for them as I will def be growing more next year, can't wait to eat a home-grown cucumber.....and I've just realised how pathetic that sounds, but I don't care !! :D
