    Re: Pregnant Again and terrified

    Hi again everyone

Can't believe it has been so long since I have been on here. Well everything appears to be going fine, I am nearly 19 weeks now so have passed the dreaded 16-18 week mark where we lost Samuel. I have had 4 scans so far, this must be one of the the most photographed babies!!!! I took a chance even though I shouldn't as it's not hospital policy and asked if they could see what we are having - the sonographer said we were a special circumstance so she had a look - looks like we are having a wee girl, I was right as that's what I have said all along so girls will out number boys in our house!!!! I have been feeling movement from about 15 weeks although it can be a bit hit or miss so I go into a blind panic for a day or 2 if I don't feel anything - bring on the good solid kicks and punches!!!!

It will be a year on 8t Nov since we found out we had lost Samuel, it just happens that both sets of our parents will be here that weeken so we wil do something nice to rememer him by, not that we will ever forget, I still have days when I cry my eyes out for him.

Hope everyone is doing ok and hasn't done to much xmas shopping cos I have only got about 4 things!!!!

    Kirsty xx

Fantastic news, huge congatulations, you must be so pleased. Keep me up-to-date with how things are going and how the amnio goes, I've had one before and it is painless so you will be fine there.

    Congrats again

Hello there I have just read your posting about having amnio test.  I had one 7 years ago when pregnant with my second son.  Having lost a baby the previous year I was terrified.  But, when I had the test done the hospital were great hopefully it will be the same for you.  X

    Re: Pregnant Again and terrified

Hi everyone, sorry it's been so long. Merry Christams to you all, hope santa was good - I got black diamond earings, different but lovely.

Well I'm nearly 28 weeks now and everything is going great, i am bigger than I was at this stage with our other 2 but my bump is still pretty small in general. This is a very active baby which is always good to feel and we have bought a dopler so we can listen in as well. I said to a friend today that with a bit of luck i could have 10 weeks left to go - yeah right i was 8 and 12 days late with the other 2!!!!

    How are you keeping Nicola?

Thanks to everyone for your kind thought and good wishes

    Happy new year

    Kirst xx

    Re: Pregnant Again and terrified

    Hi there every one

Well I'm just over 36 weeks now and fed up but very excited. I have managed to convince my consultant to induce me at 39 weeks so we can have my parents here to look after the other 2 children plus Craig can sometimes take 2 hours to get home from work so if we have a date then we can be organised. I don't have any worries about going early, the other 2 were 8 and 12 days late. Had a scan yesterday and baby is measuring small but then again that always happens with me and our daughter was just under 9lbs but i have said all along that this will beour smalest baby. My bump is really neat and I haven't gained a stone yet whic is usual for me and I ave avoided strech marks again - guess I must be lucky that way!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll let you all know whe I get my induction date

    Love to you all. xx
