 Not so sure you can pin that label on any one person.  Being a Scot and having worked and socialised with many of Wales finest, i would say all Welsh people are great.

THE all-time greatest Welshman? Well, there's Kevin Ratcliffe and Neville Southall for starters

I'm not a Welshman so maybe my opinion doesn't count for much - but for what it's worth I'd put the 'Gentle Giant' John Charles on the list - a man respected throughout Europe, if not the world, not just for his footballing ability but also for being a thoroughly decent human being.

And surely Joe Calzaghe has to be in with a shout - he's certainly been making the Americans sit up and take notice of his talent of late.

How many World Cup rugby finals have you won? Oh sorry, I forgot - Wales have never got to a final. Silly me!!

Did Welsh culture diappear then Ruardean?

If it did when did that happen,and what caused this cultural loss in your opinion?.This is a subjective  statement and needs clarification surely.?

Why would you state that you are English?Are you in fact stating that as you live in close proximity to Wales you are now aware of Welsh Culture.?Looks a bit like you do not wish readers to think your are of Welsh Origin.!

I do not think a Welsh person would agree that their culture is on the way back.Back to where Ruardean?

I believe the indigenous Welsh people are a proud and cultured race with a strong identity now and always have had.
