ITV seems to think that the whole of Britain watches F1 just to see Hamilton.

 Its really annoying that we didnt get to hear what the WINNER had to say on the race.

Also annoying that we missed a race restart after a safety car because of ***adverts.

1st post? You'll fit right in, mate...! I did have a sneaky feeling that ITV would cut to Lewis, but was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt if they didn't show it.....but no, they cut straight to Lewis. As I often say, I have nothing against Hamilton the man or the driver, but ITV are doing both himself and/or us viewers no favours by only highlighting him throughout the programme.

What made it even worse for me was Steve Ryder saying something like 'Needless to say, Kimi Raikkonen also happy with his win'. Pathetic. Either show the whole conference, or none of it whatsoever.

Just finished watching the end of the GP - absolutely agree with all the comments. As a Kimi fan, I am appalled (although not surprised) by the coverage of the interviews. Last season, I watched Lewis with interest, and kind of hoped he did ok. As the races went on, I began to want him not to do so well, just to shut up the "Lewis Hamilton Fan Club" from ITV.

Yes that was annoying... After what seemed to be a pretty well balanced pre-race build up, with details on Lewis primarily, but then info on other drivers and teams.. they went one way the whole race... downhill.. as soon as the first safety car was deployed we had adverts.. barely 5 mins into the race..

Only for ITV to end the race on a new low... lets ignore the WINNER and speak to 3rd and 6th place...

I am a Jenson Button  / Fernando Alonso fan.

But Kimi is a great driver , no taking away from that!

thanks champalonso,i personally have no prob with lewis at all.above all im an f1 fan.kimis my favorite,but i enjoy watching all 22 drivers...... unlike itv.....

Yep as soon as i saw the ads on the second safety car period i thought to myself , im going to miss the restart.. and we did, luckily no one really overtook anyone else!

Well F1 is going to BBC next year, with the old, but brilliant opening intro music from previous years.

No Bias towards drivers during interviews etc.

Did anyone actually work out how many laps we lost to adverts.  By lap 13 we had lost four and then we got company and I missed the rest of the race

I have no issue with the emphasis on British Competitors from a British Broadcaster, and dont expect that to change with the BBC.. but the blatant focus on 1 competitor to the detriment of the sport is what I take issue with.... At least give the Winner his dues and show his interview...

And really as already said.. apart from his start, what did Lewis do to earn DOTD? He held his place basically for the race... something we all know he does well... Other drivers actually made places and had scraps in the race...

Agree 100% Stigga in fact I was beginning to wonder who actually won the flaming race it was as if there was only one driver on the track to hear them  talk and that wasnt Kimi.  I think it shows ignorance to say the least, if it were Football  time would have been allowed in fact if Hamilton had been last we would have had to hear about his race but then again this isnt the first time it has happened so I suppose we have to expect it if Kimi wins.  Welcome Calisto good to have another Kimi fan on board
