    Slick_35:

cant remember the last time i stayed tuned after the race was finished, fed up with not getting the post race interviews, but to be honest they were getting pretty dull anyway.

If itv are to show the interviews, why not shave 15mins off of the waffle before the race and add it on to the end, thus allowing plenty of time for the interviews and allowing an extra 15min if we have safety car periods etc. come on ITV, i would rather hear from Martin Brundel give a post race breakdown than listen to Steve Rider n' co. babble on.

Good point - the race build up is full of some right boring blabbing - it would be better to have a deeper analysis post race... alot more relevant and enjoyable...

I just put it down to bad manners the way Kimis comments were ignored - not for the first time - and yet we had to listen to the  Hamilton roadshow from Ryder and co as usual before and after the race.  I think some of the comments made on here regarding how Kimi speaks etc are very personal,(didnt think that was allowed but it would appear to be OK for some and not for others) none of us can help how we speak perhaps  his critics would not be the most eloquent of speech makers but we will never know will we.  Kimi is a WC driver like it or not - and does not profess to be a PR specialist like some, but his views are just as valid and therefore he should recieve the same respect as any one else on the podium. If there was time to give out info on football matches there was time for him to be heard  as mentioned before this has happened on several occasions and is a disgrace -  just hope more impartiality and better manners will be shown next season.

    Lets lay it out bare...

Kimi is not the reason the vast majority of the ITV viewers watch F1... ITV cannot simply cator for the small hardcore set of Kimi fans at the expense of the vast majority of the watching public...

    It's as simple as...

I dunno, maybe they had enough of the guy muttering every time he goes on air, that they have just had enough and go to someone who actually talks to them properly.. for example.. Rosberg.

I agree with you roomey, the guy is boring and sounds fed up and bored, even on a good weekend.

The guy is Scandinavian!!, all you Mclaren fans who go on about how good Mika was, (which he was),

listen to him, it's just the way they speak.

Oh come on man, Mika was the best, polite, smiley, tried his best and would laugh even when people took digs at him, I remember Schumacher and reporters doing it all the time, I could have cried but he was such a good sport I could laugh at him, with him and along!

If memory serves me correctly the last time Kimi was interviewed on the grid when asked where he had been he told us all he had just been for a poo (but used a mre anglo-saxon term)

So yes, he has been rude and there may well be reason to avoid a live interview - but not during a press conference surely!

That was very funny, but no reason not to interview him anymore. It was ages ago.

    Couldn't agree more!

I thought that it was the height of ignorance and totally disgraceful!

How dare ITV censor the WDCAngry

I don't think that Kimi would mind if all media would ignore him. He actually said before that F1 would be paradise without media.

Agreed. I've still yet to work out how ITV can justify the build up of a race to an hour, filled mainly with Rider and Blundell talking about Hamilton's prospects. In ITV's defence, to a certain extent, they weren't on air much longer after they said about Kimi not being included for 'time reasons'. However, if they hadn't wasted so much time in the first place, then the interviews could be shown in full, exciting or not.

    Cheers, everybody,

Without the media we wouldnt have no infomation or anything, Kimi displays his arrogance way to often for my likenings!

No wonder why the Finnish fans are abounding the F1 tracks, never mind maybe Heikki might become their next pleasant Mika! I am starting to understand why ITV seem to detest the individual!

I think ITV are trying their best to windup the few hardcore Kimi fans on this forum for our entertainment...Wink

Where did this Arrogance  myth come from? He is the least likely to be arrogant out of the lot of them.

Stop trying to imitate RE by constantly rehashing the same lies in the hope they'll be accepted as truth. You have done your character a disservice with such behavior.
