While I can appreciate that this family have lost a child, perhaps they should reflect on the fact that their arrogance and lack of concern for their children may have cost them all of the children, if Maddie WAS kidnapped, why did the kidnapper leave the other children?
Every parent feels for Maddie, wherever she is, but the McCanns determination to go out for dinner at the expense of their childrens safety beggars belief. As previously said, if this had happened in England, and/or the parents been council estate residents, they would have lost all of the children, as the other two would have been taken into care in very short order...
Which of you out there, who are parents, would have left their children alone, in a hotel room, in a foreign country, while they went out for dinner?? You don't take your kids on holiday to leave them alone in a hotel room while you go out for jollies, especially in a hotel where child minding facilities are available if you are so inclined to leave your kids behind...
Maddie, wherever you are, Mrs W and I pray you are safe, and are returned home soon, but can people please remember that the 'vicitm' in this sad episode is Maddie, the parents were arrogant and lax in their care for her, it is a tragedy for them that they may have lost their daughter, but it was an avoidable tragedy.
