    vader:

For me, the show has hit another creative brick wall.

Just when it was picking up, it goes back to square one. The return of Charity is overhyped to the max and the Debbie/Michael storyline has dented the show in recent weeks.

Cain/Faye had so much potential but the writers have abaonded it in favour of Cain/Charity and Faye/Mark. I don't understand how they can't see how well a partnership works. They ram so many crap ones down our necks (Debbie/Michael, Ryan/Katie, Leyla/David)

Natasha Wylde has also taken a back seat as the much hyped *** of the Dales and has become incredibly boring. I wouldn't be surprised if Amanda Donohoe doesn't reniew her contract.

    The Marlon/Moira fued is pathetic.

That's all I gotta say Big Smile

Yes, time to jazz it up again:-

Who cares if Charity stays, I would rather have Cain in it.

Let someone look up Ryan's father on the Internet and see from the photos that it is Mark and set the fireworks off.

Let Cain be the one to drop the bombshell on the Wyldes.

Then, Natasha can come into her own again and hopefully both she and Faye will bid Mark farewell when he runs off with Katie or Charity.

I take it the Ashley storyline is building up to Laurel taking her maternity leave but please leave it that she can come back.

Give David a backbone or get rid of him, he is meant to be a businessman and Councilor but acts as neither.

    Give Diane a life.

Split up Carl and Chastity, it isn't working.

Get rid of Pirya she is a joke.

    But keep:-

Aaron with Paddy, such potential for growth of both characters (I really like the way Aaron is coming on)

Nichola with Jimmy, just for once let's have a happy family.

Chris Beeson, just for once not a stereotype Asian.

Nemisis, I wholeheartedly agree with your every word and feeling there. Only thing I'm not sure about is what you mean by "look up Ryan's father on the internet"? Maybe I'm thick (highly likely!) but I don't see how that would be done. Where would you find that info and where would you then get photos of him?

I'm enjoying Chris Bisson's portrayal of Jai, although Nikhil is a little wooden I don't mind him, Priya, yes, pointless.

There must have been newpaper coverage of Mark (Daniel's) disappearance at the time he went missing so it should be available with the 'have you seen this man' photo from that time.  He can't have changed that much for Faye to have recognised him in the magazine.

I suppose it all depends on how much Faye has told Ryan about his dad.
