    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

I would like to say that it was absolutely ridiculous that Danyl was in the sing off on Saturday nights show. It was so obvious that Cheryl does'nt like Danyl and she is not there to vote on who she likes but who is the most talented and that is Danyl in my opinion. At least Dani voted on the act she thought gave the best performance, Cheryl just passed the buck.

The judges told Rachel she has to have more confidence, Danyl has confidence but they say he is TOO confident, you can't win.

It is NOT a who the judges like show but who is the most talented.

Somebody should tell the judges that.

Part of me feels sorry for these two boys as it isn't fully their fault and they're getting battered left right and centre. They were just two young boys who tried to win a competion believing (like most who enter) they are good enough.

Louis is the one who put them through in, granted, a poor category but there were others far more deserving (by this I mean talented) who should have gone through.

Could you imagine being one of those three acts who didn't make it knowing you lost out to those brats.

I totally agree they are 2 young lad who think they have got talent ,,

louis is responsible for putting them on the bigger stage ,,but iether cheryl or danni agreed to put them to the judges houses, if they had,nt louis would,nt have been able to choose them

No amount of partitions will get them remove ie facebook,,i am hoping that they along with there parents can see they are the joke act and will remove themselfs

If they were to walk away they will i,m sure not disapear from tv ,but hopefully something more suited to clowning around

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

I totally agree.  I have always watched the X Factor but Saturday was the last night ever.  There is no way those 2 acts should have been in the last two.  The Twins and someone else yes.  The presence of the twins in the live final was dubious to say the least.  I agree, Louis went too far - sorry - your're fired Loius!!!!

The great British public - no taste, wasting your money on these two. If this was ploy to get the nation talking its worked.  It probably has made people question their need to watch the programme.  This could be the end of X Factor...............

agreed. i really dont get all the hype about him. hes got an ok voice but running about the stage like an idiot, sliding around on his knees and throwing his mic from hand to hand repeatedly isn't really working the audience imo. as i said in another thread he could learn alot from the way michael buble performed, no cheap theatrics but the guy had the audience in the palm of his hand from the moment he opened his mouth.

simon cowell has always valued cockiness and arrogance in a performer over pure talent, i remember on last years american idol he was criticising kris allen, who went on to win the show, that he wasn't conceited enough and needed to show more arrogance in his performances.

Sorry guys but I disagree .. Danyl has a great voice and is a  natural born performer .. and my Mrs (who knows more about music than I do) agrees Yes

So that's that sorted Big Smile

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

So, candeeee, Danyl has a 'great voice'?  I'd like to agree but I can't say I've actually properly heard his singing voice - his liberal interpretations of the songs don't really consititute singing.  He's all surface and no substance.  How can he possibly work himself up into such a lather onstage when he's only got a couple of minutes to perform?  It's like he's taken a crash course in Overblown Stage Histrionics as taught by James Brown, Jimmi Hendrix and a few dodgy poodle rockers from the 80's.  He is in love with his own performance - not very entertaining at all.

As for the twins, I don't think for a moment that they believe that they are talented.  I think they're two nice, daft lads who've fallen into their wildest dreams and can't quite believe their luck.  Just watch the eyes of one of them (don't know which one) when they perform - he's constantly scanning the stage, looking very unsure of himself.  I'm not voting for them (I never do - got other things to do with my dosh) but I can understand why other people are.  Cos they're sick of so-called talented singers winning the show then disappearing without trace and/or recording the same bland ballads and anodyne pop ditties.

I guess its a matter of personal taste .. for example I can't stand Mariah Carey but she's seems to be very popular .. my friend tells me she's pitch perfect or summatt Confused but it still doesn't make me want to listen to her ... I do like Joe Cocker though his voice is as gravely as they get ... but that's what I like, and I love when a voice is powerful without screeching ... so Danyl ticks all the boxes for me. And I don't mind the leaping about the stage thing, he's obviously enjoying himself, bless Smile

I'm a HUGE Madonna fan too .. though that's got nowt to do with owt  Confused

On Saturday’s show, the least talented acts escaped the sing-off.  However, that is not the fault of the judges.

No-one, let alone the judges, should be surprised by the viewers' choice, because the voting system is statistically flawed.

X-Factor asks viewers to vote for a favourite performer.  If a large number of votes goes to one act, that distorts the number of votes available to the other performers.  So even the second best act could be at risk - because any one of the remaining acts could receive the least votes, irrespective of merit.

At this stage of the contest, voters should be invited to nominate an act to be sent home - NOT their favourite act.  I am sure that would produce very different results.

By now, the twins might even have received their just desserts.

    Hello all.

This was ment to be a rock night!!!!!!! Lmao if you call that rock then Pavarotti is Iron Maiden. What a joke this show has become. I work as a music journalist for Leeds Music Scene and i have never in my life seen or heard such crap....................Rock songs well maybe one or two but this show was a ****ing joke! As for the twins that are ment to be singers and i have a singer and its a sewing machine that works better than them and it is broken! DOES ANYONE REALLY THINK THEY ARE THAT GOOD ? If that is the case im going to quit the music industry. What a joke this show is becoming. I rest my case!!!!!!

Hi you ...Danyl is just the greastest !! The Ali of the X factor...He has been shown just how cut throat this talent show can be!!! Im quite disapointed with Cheryls comments. She has destroyed his confidence...The tabloids have acted like sharks smelling blood...ripping apart a very talented man.
