    blood$hot:
Word on the street is that Mark finally admits that he is gay and then escapes to go and live in a homosexual commune in Outer Mongolia. Now with Mark safely out of the way Ryan and Nathan decide its time for them to work on their own relationships, with each others mother.

Love it! They should sack the scriptwriters and give you a job!

How does the news that Mark is really married to Faye and that Ryan is his son? My bet is a car crash, blood needed by Mark, rare blood group, only one with same group is . . . . Ryan! That, coupled with the "coming out" storyline would at least not be boring (throwing things at the tv because of cliches is allowed?). The only thing is - Outer Mongolia - isn't that soapspeak for Newcastle? (I'm allowed to say that, I live there).

Re: The bigamy storyline... it's got stupid

To me, there seemed to be a real rapport between Mark and Faye when they were chatting in Faye's cottage.  He seemed more natural and at home than he ever does with Natasha -  with Natasha he is sometimes almost obsequious   And he has obviously started comparing Ryan to Nathan (remarks in the woolpack) to Nathan's detriment.

Where is this going (I read that Amanda Donaghue hates the British climate  -  will she renew her contract?) I must admit I'm feeling sparks of interest again.

I must admit, that for me, I would be happy if she didn't renew and the storyline developed in a way which sees Natasha leaving and Mark ending up with Faye. I agree that the chemistry between Mark & Faye is better than that between he and Natasha. The whole bigamy thing has had me liking it/not liking it/ liking it again for weeks and the way I see it at the moment Faye is a more interesting character to develop than that of Natasha, who I find myself liking less. If the whole situation implodes soon, as I'm sure it must, then let it be in a way that removes Natasha and Nathan, Maisie can stay, I find her quite amusing.

I even find Maxwell to be less wooden these days.

I agree, i like cider.  I read that one of the three gets badly hurt (mentally, physically, both?)  I don't know if that means that one of them will be leaving but I'm hoping so, and that it will be Natasha.  I also read that Faye and Ryan are in it for the long haul, so fingers crossed.  I too find Maisie quite amusing  -  there doesn't seem to be any malice in her. Nathan on the other hand is really weird -  I still believe that Leyla will succumb to his pursuit, and it will all end in tears.  He's malicious.  And creepy.

Hi Herne, just read a few spoilers, which I won't divulge, except to say I think you are right about Creepy Nathan and the future. I too read that Faye and Nathan are long term cast members, so we may be in luck. Bring on the Paradise for Amanda!

I have to admit that I like Mark with Faye as well, she is playing a very clever game and was never suited to Cain IMO, she is far too ladylike.  Poor old Natasha how the mighty will fall!  I wish Nathan would get over himself as well, still treating his dad like dirt for his "affair".  If he is so aggreived why doesnt he move out of daddy's house, get himself a job away from daddy's business and fend for himself.   His constant sulking with Mark is becoming really tiresome.

I was wondering why he hasn't moved out if he is so fed up with Mark.  But then he would have to fend for himself (perish the thought) which I should imagine he had never had to do before!

But is the money business Marks or Natasha's - he always gets his orders from Mummy not Daddy.

Whoever holds the purse strings, there is no way that this spoilt little Mummy's boy could cope if they were severed, along with the apron strings. If he had to make his own way in the world he might turn out a better person in the end, but I don't see it happening any time soon!

What about a car crash and they find out that the blood group (Mark/Ryan) does not match.  How do we know that Faye is not lying about Ryan being Mark's son just to get him back and/or bring him down?

Thinking about it, we've never had any concrete proof that Ryan is Mark's son, and maybe Ryan has never seen any photo's of Mark because Faye has shown him photo's of his REAL father.Hmm

Nope, on mulling it over, I don't think so.

Re: The bigamy storyline... it's got stupid

I watched it last night and if the reason Faye is doing this is to reel in Mark and then dump him then she is doing it very well and Mark is playing right into her hands, but if on the other hand she genuinely loves him and wants him back then I think she has got doormat written all over her and throwing herself at him that way will only make Mark/Daniel think that he can have his cake and eat it.  How will she feel every time he walks out of the house in the morning.  I think he is in lust with Faye and loves Natasha.  After 24 years of a very happy marriage and being very much in love  with Natasha it is a bit strange that he would want someone back after 27 years and after walking out on her.
