SC what's up? Why do you always seem to want to be in Cheryl's good book by going to deadlock when it's any of her acts in the bottom 2? Remember she's married! So no hanky panky. Do the right thing and stop being skirt chaser.

I totally agree & I think Simon ought to be ashamed of himself tonight.  He has spent the whole time preaching about the show being a singing competition when it comes to John & Edward yet he seemed to forget this tonight when he basically sent Rachel home.  He also dismissed the publics hate towards Danyl and defends him being in the competition yet uses the fact that Rachel has been in the bottom 2 before as a case for sending her home & finally he always says he is judging it on their final performance so if that is the case Rachel clearly outsang Lloyd so he should have sent Lloyd home.  On a slightly different note (but still another reason why the X-Factor is becoming a joke), when did the x-factor turn into the Cheryl Cole show??!!  I actually like her & her new song but if I have to hear them making another announcement about her being number 1, about her advert, her outfits or any other promotion I think I might die.

Re: THE X FACTOR IS GETTING BEYOND A JOKE

Tonight has seen Simon Cowell deliberately pass on giving a credible opinion on the best performing act on the night (between some-one who could sing and some-one who could not) for their right to continue in the competition.

What is equally beguiling is that Cheryl Cole also found the same difficulty (after postulating in self congratulations) on both her chart and album success this week, with the assistance of her colleagues on the panel, and in her case, it was patently clear, that voting for the better of the two artists on the night was never going to be an option.

It is clear that if either of these individuals had a nuance of musical acumen before tonight, which personally I have doubted for longer than I can remember, the lack of it has been displayed tonight in full measure.

When are the public going to wake up to the fact that actions of both Cole & Cowell are both unwelcome and positively unfair, and that by voting accordingly we would hopefully see the back of them?

Gauging from the reaction of viewers I see the X Factor is as much of a joke as it was last year.  The show as a talent competition ended when Rhydian was sent off two years ago.

I haven't been watching this year because the show is a total farce.  What the hell was Cowell thinking?  Oh, I can guess....popularity and £££, nothing to do with talent.

i wonder if the jedwood phenomenom is self-perpetuating

as more of the good singers leave the show, their fans start starting voting for the big-hair twins?

    spooky but possible?
