I agree. Also they have a different set of rules to the other contestants. If Stacey stand in one place and does a ballad, she's told to move and be more diverse - Jamie is told to do other genres and styles not just rock - WHY then do the twins get to do loud, shouting spectacles every week, with lots of dancers and things going on aroud them to detract from their singing? Why are they not told to be diverse? Surely they must be made to stand on the spot and sing a ballad.

Then we will see how many people will vote for them

I agree, J and E making a complete mockery of the show. They can't sing in tune or dance in time. Awful. Poor Rachel must be truly *** of today. Simon Cowel totally copped out last night, he should've chosen the best singer on the night, like he has always done in the past. If the dreaded twits. oopps sorry twins win this year i am boycotting the next series.

Re: Get John and Edward off xfactor

Surely the amazing amount of people supposingly voting for John & Edward would also go online to support, praise and defend their act, I've trawled through a lot of X Factor blogs and have yet to find one message in their favour - so who are these people?

    a. People who are voting for them as a joke and who are too afraid to be named and shamed - but would an ernormous amount of people be inclined to spend money doing that week after week?

or b. As I suspect, made up and rigged votes cynically designed to up the voting ante at the expense of potential real talent.

I am so angry that these two are still there. I will never be watching the show again,Its fixed and so farcical when the more talented performers are having to leave.GET THEM OFF NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree and I knew when Louis got the Groups category that he would be putting them in. If they are so good, why do people keep voting for them? Yes, they are entertaining, but Rachel deserved the place more and they are kicking good people out of the competition. If they are so good Louis, you give them a contract and see them flop.

This show is not really about unearthing true talent, it's about making television that lots of people talk about (as we are doing) and that makes money for people like Simon Cowell.

Don't take it so seriously folks!  The TV show is the event in itself, not the eventual career of the 'lucky' winner.

Re: Get John and Edward off xfactor

Well at last Simon Cowell has shown his true colours (kerching££££).  How more arrogant, patronising, greed driven and totally insulting to viewers intelligence will he be allowed to get? Does he even care? Apparently not!!

Yes, he sounded credible during the audition stages when advising hopefuls that negative comments were a 'reality check' but on live show sing offs he had always said that both contestants would be judged on their final 'singing for their lives' performance - so what happened?  Rachel is superb and Lloyd blows it but does Simon, who has the deciding vote, have the decency to fulfil that obligation both to the contestants and the viewing public?

Oh no, he weighs up the commercial value of future lucrative votes for Lloyd against Rachel (a bit contradictory seeing as Lloyd was also in the bottom two - or was he  - if the rumours of vote rigging are to be believed) and votes against Rachel in the smug and probably already known confidence that Lloyd would have the majority of public votes.

We all assume that if John & Edward were in the bottom two that it would be an automatic send off, but would it? If Simon Cowell had the deciding vote in that situation would he truly dismiss them and keep a good act or would he again vote through cash coloured eyes?

Whether we actually vote or not, by just watching the programme we are contributing to the coffers.  Simon through your arrogant disregard of public perception you have just turned a once watchable, enjoyable show into something that leaves a very disturbing and unpleasant taste.

    Oh dear Mojo

Many people vote for John and Edward, because they are funny, entertaining and they antagonize people like you.  It's fine do you need counseling about it, it seems like you do.

Life isn't so serious, I can help you, why don't you try getting out on a Saturday night or even Sunday morning for a lovely walk, I have tried it and it's good.  You soon forget about all the stupid TV programmes that rule your life and well quite frankly you feel invigorated, you even feel like singing yourself.

Give it a go... you will soon get your Mojo back baby...yeh

They cant sing but are good entertainment so they will have the usual following of little girls all wanting their babies but for goodness sake let the real singers show what talent really is

Re: Get John and Edward off xfactor

Apparently John and Edward are getting  TWICE the number of votes than any of the other contestants so looks like they won't be going anywhere this week.

I ha ve them in my bottom 2 for two telling reasons

One simon praised (slightly) there performance last night and going by previous years when he does this the public see he is no longer upset so beigin/tend not to vote the same

Two when he was quizzed last night as too the twins putting out other acts that can sing he responded by say O they wont trust me    now is that telling or not  ???

    I need a life dude

    Edited for accuracy.

See. This is real life, sunshine. The singers through to the televised stages have very real, and very realistic, aspirations with regard to their singing careers. And to have them thwarted, week on week, by a couple of eejits who are as good at singing as Luca Badoer was at pedalling a F1 car is just taking the fricking urine.

I suspect that the votes keeping them in are from nappy wearers being encouraged by pinko liberal parents, or those with lots of cats and a glass topped coffee table.
