There have been several times I've been very tempted to wade into the debate, waving a large verbal axe over my head.
On the whole, I'm glad I didn't.

I think some of my recent posts regarding racer have touched a few raw nerves, they certainly wasn't meant to create the bad atmosphere on the forum we are experiencing at the moment and I do apologise for that. I know I am sometimes very outspoken when I feel strongly about a subject and will not make any apologies for the way I feel, but I am sorry if it was my posts that created the bad feeling on the forum.
This is normally a happy, easy going place to spend a few hours ranting on about the sport we all love, and by and large we all generally manage to get through the day without ripping each others heads off. I am dismayed by the way normally tolerent people are turning on each other. Please please can we get back to some good old fashioned driver and team bashing, funny pics and laughing at anames latest conspiracy theory.
A special mention for my mate humpy. I believe I now owe you and others a huge apology. I have said many times that racers posts are doing no harm, after seeing the way the forum as degenerated this evening, I was completly wrong and have now seen first hand how much damage can be done when people take differing sides in matters like this. Once again my apologies humpy.
R1 I still believe your tactics in dealing with racer were bullying and the same goes for Matt42, but at least I have now seen the light. I hope we can all move on from this little spat and get back to some F1 related arguing. I certainly wont be holding any grudges.
Racer 111. If you are reading this I hope you are pleased, I have spent many hours reading and finding enjoyment in your posts, I have even enjoyed defending your right to post and wrongly defended your right not to have to prove who you are. Hell, it was me who gave you your beloved nickname Fozzie. Do I feel you have made a fool of me? No. Am I angry you have managed to be the catalyst for people falling out in this forum ? You bet I am, and if you have any sense of loyalty or honesty towards the good people of this forum please provide some of the proof others are asking for or simply just take your knowledge elsewhere. I would much rather spend my time debating F1 matters and creating funny pics than having to apologise for the mess you have created.
Hi
It was never my intension to cause trouble on this forum; I am just posting extracts from e mails I send to friends and family when I am away.
I think this is one of the best F1 forums on the Web and has a number of very knowledgeable members, passionate about F1
There are clearly members who enjoy reading my posts (whether they believe them or not) and there are members who don’t care one way or another and some who think I am a lying fantasist who should be put against the wall and shot.
There have been members making supportive comments about my posts
There have been members making adverse comments about my post
And there have been members making adverse comments about the comments
This thread appears to be trying to draw a line under this issue and I am all for that.
I am, who I am, and what I am, which includes being a bit stubborn and ***minded at times.
As long as members want to read my posts, I will continue as I have been doing.
I will try to answer any reasonable questions, but will not respond to the “if you were really there you would not what size shoes JB was wearing” type of question.
If you are not happy with my post, then it is you write to voice that disapproval, I have not get upset about any of the adverse posts, in fact some have been extremely inventive and funny.
But I would ask that if members post in support of me, that they are not subjected to personal attacks.
I would also ask, that members who do post in support (and those posts are appreciated) do not in turn indulge in personal attacks on those who make adverse posts.
We all have the same interest in F1, and if we can adopt a, live and let live attitude, we can all get along.
One final point, my daughter, who has a habit of looking over my shoulder when she passes me, working on the PC, has read a few postings, and reckons we are all a bunch of “Muppets” and I am the biggest “Muppet” of use all, and “Fozzie” is about right for me “loveable, but a bit stupid”
She is always good for a reality check.
Hears to a good 2010 season.
Regards

Hi
It was never my intension to cause trouble on this forum; I am just posting extracts from e mails I send to friends and family when I am away. You just cant help yourself can you ? Even now you have seen the aftermath of your ramblings you carry on. ''It was never my intension to cause trouble'' thats a dead statement allready considering your on the same course as before knowing that its causing trouble.
I think this is one of the best F1 forums on the Web and has a number of very knowledgeable members, passionate about F1 Who dont need you ruining it for them.
There are clearly members who enjoy reading my posts (whether they believe them or not) and there are members who don’t care one way or another and some who think I am a lying fantasist who should be put against the wall and shot. So out of everything you still hold onto the very few who enjoy your posts but state its probably a load of rubbish ? Your ok even with your fans thinking your full of it ?
There have been members making supportive comments about my posts Still have trouble understanding that.
There have been members making adverse comments about my post Totally understand that.
And there have been members making adverse comments about the comments Yes, that would be the trouble your causing. Which you allready knew.
This thread appears to be trying to draw a line under this issue and I am all for that. Are you off then ?
I am, who I am, and what I am, which includes being a bit stubborn and ***minded at times. I would suggest selfish as one word, not really seen a stubborn side to you. Its not like you have any information to offer so it would be impossible for you to be stubborn, you have nothing to hold back.
As long as members want to read my posts, I will continue as I have been doing. Yes why not ? Cause more trouble.....
I will try to answer any reasonable questions, but will not respond to the “if you were really there you would not what size shoes JB was wearing” type of question. Why change the habit of a lifetime, you have failed to answer even one ''Reasonable'' question what has been put to you with anything substantial.
If you are not happy with my post, then it is you write to voice that disapproval, I have not get upset about any of the adverse posts, in fact some have been extremely inventive and funny. Correct and I will continue to do so. I find your second part extremley rude and insensitive, you find this whole thing ''Funny''...... If you were a decent person you would put a stop to all of this by so easily humbling all the doubters and letting this forum get back to what it used to be. Not going to hold my breath.
But I would ask that if members post in support of me, that they are not subjected to personal attacks. Wow...what a hero... You could just stop posting of course and not create this issues amongst members rather than giving out orders.
I would also ask, that members who do post in support (and those posts are appreciated) do not in turn indulge in personal attacks on those who make adverse posts. So let me get this right, your now in an indirect way trying to turn members against eachother ? Your seperating the 'Good' and the 'Bad' into two seperate groups....Nice.
We all have the same interest in F1, and if we can adopt a, live and let live attitude, we can all get along. No problem with that if you stop insulting my intelligence and taking people for a ride.
One final point, my daughter, who has a habit of looking over my shoulder when she passes me, working on the PC, has read a few postings, and reckons we are all a bunch of “Muppets” and I am the biggest “Muppet” of use all, and “Fozzie” is about right for me “loveable, but a bit stupid” Not even going to comment on that. Its just funny.
She is always good for a reality check. Clearly she isnt....
Hears to a good 2010 season.

I have to agree RE, in here feels weird, it really really does. I dont think in here would have been this bad if we had a true competitive season this year, there would be things to seriously debate! Some of the bricking I dont get, I like hump and racer personally, but is there two posters baring the name hump??

I dunno, are you the same fun loving sundance kid having a go at racer all the time? What is your problem with racer, what has he done to you exactly, I only ask because sometimes I scan posts and dont go into them too deeply, so maybe I have missed something??

I think some of my recent posts regarding racer have touched a few raw nerves, they certainly wasn't meant to create the bad atmosphere on the forum we are experiencing at the moment and I do apologise for that.
Regards
Racer111 (Fozzie)
Can I be Miss Piggy then............................

Regards
Racer111

anametoremember: the_hump: anametoremember: RaggedEdge:I'm pretty sure Wax has a number of plants in various forums... it would not cost him much to hire a bunch of clowns to beat his propoganda drum...
A select few are comletely disjoint from reality... and are pefectly happy with the failure of F1, as is Wax himself...
The FIA race fixing is affecting everything, including the core debates on forums like these...
The last time we all got positive and excited was on the thought of a breakaway and Michael's fake return attempt... we just can't be positive without good solid, fair and honest racing... and the FIA are utter failures in this department... they make the weak look strong and strong look weak.... it's artificial and boring.
I have to agree RE, in here feels weird, it really really does. I dont think in here would have been this bad if we had a true competitive season this year, there would be things to seriously debate! Some of the bricking I dont get, I like hump and racer personally, but is there two posters baring the name hump??
Huh ? What you mean ?
I dunno, are you the same fun loving sundance kid having a go at racer all the time? What is your problem with racer, what has he done to you exactly, I only ask because sometimes I scan posts and dont go into them too deeply, so maybe I have missed something??
Are you being serious ? So im the only one who is opposed to the ramblings of a fantasist ?

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Mud is starting to fly again!!
I'm so sorry, redfrog, this thread was such a good effort and I welcomed it so much. It was all looking good for a while - but now it's looking like war is starting up again.
Come on people, please, please! Can't we put this one to rest now?
Maybe if I borrowed some of jax's goats to sacrifice, in the name of peace??
