Why should anyone apologise for making a comment, that Avelli666 does not understand.

He has shown a remarkable ability to not understand everything, proven before him.

And just for the record, I didn't insult anyone. My comment was "Don't they have the concept of "a figure of speech" in Estonia?" so, unless your argument is that by me suggesting you might have a connection to Estonia is insulting their entire nation, you are once again massively wide of the mark.

I also find it amusing that pretty much the last 3 pages of posting has been this:

and you haven't changed either, refusing to apologise for insulting a whole nation for no reason what so ever. why did you have to say what you said about them? how did they ever come into the debate? and why a whole nation? i am disgusted by those who insult a large group of people without cause.

The onus is actually on you to explain why asking a simple question is in some way insulting anybody.

So, according to your warped logic, if I posted "Don't they have earthquakes in Belgium?" you would see that as me somehow insulting everyone in Belgium?

I will explain my comment as you seem completely unable to understand it (which makes it even more ironic, I suppose): You took a figure of speech as a literal comment. I suspect that you have a connection to Estonia and (genuinely) wondered whether they have the concept of a 'figure of speech' in that language. If they do not, then this may explain why you don't understand some people's glib comments, because I also suspect that English is not your first language – and before you start, I'm not saying that in a nasty way, merely as something I suspect.

Kindly explain to me why this is insulting anybody.

3. It is insulting to all the people of Estonia and the world who do use a second language on a forum, if by way of association with the failure of the poster to master their own first language, you conclude that as indicative of the standards deemed acceptable by such second language forum users.

Thus it can only be deemed insulting if all three of the above observations are truth and acknowledged as truth by the one accusing you of insulting.

what is cleared up? the discussion had nothing to do with estonia and you clearly tried numerous times to say my posts were illogical and referred to estonia as an illogical nation. and you went on to conclude that english wasn't my first language for your own twisted reasoning.
