    I'LL SIGN!!

Hello ITV (or STV if you live in Scotland like moi!)

Can I just say that you were sooo sooo sooo wrong to cut Primeval. To be honest, it is basically the only show i watch on your channel.

No offence ITV, but shows like Corrie, Xfactor, and Britain's Got Talent are really boring to me and my mates. I was really pleased when you started to bring in shows like Primeval and Demons, as they were clearly an attempt to develope shows for young people, not just dull housewives and celebrity-obsessed girls.

But now you're saying that you're going to cut ALL your dramas down in favour of the same sort of reality rubbish I wouldn't touch with a bargepole!

Well sorry but I think you will shoot yourself in the foot bigtime! Think of all the money Primeval makes - not just from ratings, but from all the dvds, books and other merchandise.

On top of this you will be disappointing fans who were beginning to think of Primeval as a cult sci-fi show. I'm pretty sure you'll find that a different channel will snap up Primeval and gain a lot of money from it. I am really disappointed in ITV.

Re: sign the pettition to save primeval we need as many as possible

Shocked to hear this news, my son will be really upset when I tell him, I'm going to put it off as long as possible in the hope that ITV will reverse this silly decision.  There are very few programmes on the telly nowadays that the family can sit and watch together - I am reduced to buying DVDs of old programmes like the Dukes of Hazzard so we can watch something with no swearing, sex etc together.  The only decent family programme left is Doctor Who and that's hardly ever on.

Poor choice ITV, please re-think this.

Re: sign the pettition to save primeval we need as many as possible

    Complete Madness.

Primeval is ITV's best show and in our household essential viewing both first time round on ITV1 and we are avidly re-living it again at the moment on ITV2.

Why cancel a show that has 6 million viewers and a production company that had a sensible proposal for funding series 4 via a tie in with a satellite broadcaster such as sci-fi channel.

The writing is top drawer; the actors first class; the CGI amazing.  It is streets ahead of your BBC rival shows for Saturday evenings - Merlin; Robin Hood and yes it's even better than Doctor Who.

Appreciate advertising revenues are dropping but this is the wrong show to drop. Get it re-commissioned as soon as possible.  We need to find out how our heroes are going to escape from the various time zones you left them in at the series 3 cliffhanger.

ITV could also improve its budgetting by getting the merchandising out. My children will buy the toys , books and the DVD's but they are not that widely available.   The shelves in my local supermarket toy aisles are full of your BBC alternatives.

BRING IT BACK - PRIMEVAL IS YOUR BRIGHTEST SIDE

Please don't axe Primeval, only just heard and very dissapointed. So glad to discover we could have our say on  this website, because when we heard the news, we thought it was the most ludicrous decision ever. Six million viewers can't be wrong and it is honestly, one of the best shows in ages. Not often these days, there is a show on a Saturday night that the whole family can sit down and watch, well this was it. don't axe Primeval, it is the wrong decision.
