"Elliot why don't you like the baby?" Liam asked as he placed Erin on his lap as he took a seat next to Carla on the sofa. "She take mummy from me." Elliot said slight anger in his little voice. Carla frowned as she gently ran her hand through her son's dark hair. "Elliot mummy loves you, daddy loves you too. That hasn't changed." Carla said softly trying desperately to make her son see the new addition was no threat to him.

"No baby take mummy from Elliot." Elliot whined as Michelle looked at a loss to help. Tony sighed as he looked at the saddened expression Carla had on her face. "Elliot, mummy's sad that you don't like Kalie. Look." Tony said as Elliot pouted slightly but looked towards Carla who tried to muster a smile for her son but failed slightly. She was worried that his behaviour was unusual and that he'd continue to resent Kalie. "Mummy no sad." Elliot said as he reached up his arms for Carla. "Kalie is only a baby El, she needs us lots because she's very little, you're a big boy though and can do lots more." Tony reasoned as Elliot pondered on this thought for a moment. "What about if you help mummy and daddy with Kalie hmm?"

Elliot had eventually fallen asleep against Carla's chest, his thumb stuck in his mouth as he slumbered. "Poor little mite, I suppose it is a big change." Liam mused as Carla nodded.

"I just want him to get on with Kalie, I thought he'd take it far better than he has done." Carla said as Tony gently kissed her temple. "It's alright love, he's just going through a bit of jealousy, it's new to him after all."

Carla lay Elliot on the sofa softly so not to wake him as Liam sighed "he'll get better, his only 2 he doesnt really understand yet". "shall i go get her then while little mans sleeping" Carla said after placing a blanket over Elliot while Erin sat content playing with Elliots toys. after a few moments Carla came back in carrying her baby daughter. "aww she's so pretty" Michelle cooed as Carla passed her to Michelle. "She really is beautifull carla" Liam stated as he looked at the little girl before going over to talk to Tony "look mate, i really am sorry about the things Maria said they really were out of order exspecially just a couple of hours after your daughters birth, it should have been one of the happiest days of your life and she comes out with that nonsence" Liam said as Tony shook his head "no problems mate i trust my wife she couldnt ruin my daughters birth" Tony said far from the truth but he wasnt about to show that to Liam.

"Audrey i have to do somthing i cant go to that competition tomorrow knowing that Liam is going to be taking my baby round to his lovers and they'll be playing happy familys" Maria whined as Maria packed up her best hair dressing equitment from the salon into her suitcase. "Maria love you still dont really have any proof to say that anything has went on between them, Carla has a new born baby and a toddler to look after i doubt she has much time for anything else, "she also has her lap dog Tony, she says jump and he says how high every single time" Maria said as Audrey shrugged "im sure Liam will be at home looking after Erin and Carla at home with both her babies, you have a bright future ahead of you with this competition Maria please dont go messing it up with all this business and for your own sake as well as Erins please try to forget it all  and try to make your marrige work"

"God she looks like you Car, though I can see a bit of you too Tony." Michelle said cooing over the tiny girl in her arms. "Amazing to think that just a few years ago Elliot was like that. Seems crazy to think of him been so little." Tony said as he glanced at hsi dozing son.

"So what do you think, any different been parents to a little girl now?" Liam asked as Carla shook her head. "Not really. I love them both so much. Though it's nice having all little girl clothes to dress her in." Carla smiled as she looked lovingly down at her tiny daughter who had curled her tiny hand around Michelle's thumb. "Oh that reminds me, you might not want them all but well there's some of Erin's stuff that she's grown out of there. You can have a rummage through if you want. It isn't your usual designer stuff but there's some pretty dresses and things if you want." Liam said as he indicated to the bags full of tiny baby clothes in a multitude of creams, pinks, lemon's and lilac's. "Aww thanks Lee." Carla said as Tony watched the pair knowing he trusted his wife but not sure he fully trusted Liam.

Maria sighed running a hand through her caramel, blonde hair frustratedly. "Audrey I've given him chance after chance and every time he messes up. I'm sick and tired of been the one making an effort." Maria said shortly as Audrey frowned.

"Surely you need to both sit down and talk, like adults. At the end of the day you have a daughter together and she's the one you need to focus on. She's number one here. If you really think you can;t work things out then you need to make it so Erin still can see Liam as well as you, and her aunt, cousin, grandparents." Audrey said diplomatically.

"

"I'll give you a shot of holding her now, I need to go to the bathroom" Michelle said to Liam very carfully passing him Kalie before heading towards Carla and Tony's bathroom. Kalie wriggled slightly but she soon settled again in Liam's arms. Liam lmarvelled at Kalie in his arms "she's so laid back, we havent heard a peep out of her since we got here" he noted. "Ye she's so good, the opposite of Ell he was such a noisy newborn" Carla said stroking Kalies little bit of dark hair while she sat in Liam's arms. Truth be told she couldn't wait to have her daughter back in her arms but she didn't want to seem like a crazy, paranoid new mum.
Tony watched the pair fuss over every tiny move Kalie made and it made him feel uncomfortable. He hadn't felt jelously like this in years and he knew he had to keep it hidden. Carla would be so upset if he knew she was making him this insecure and that was the last thing she needed just days after giving birth.

"You're right Audrey, I need to talk to him. I dont think I can trust him enough to take him back, but Liam's a brilliant dad and I don't want his relationship with Erin to suffer" Maria said realising she had to put Erin above her and Liam's problems.
"Thats very wise lovey" Adrey said thankfull Maria was finally talking some sence.
"I just hope Erin doesn't miss out because of Liam and Carla's baby" Maria said packing the last of her things for her trip. "Maria you cant keep saying that, you don't have any proof and if you keep saying things like that people are going to get hurt" Audrey said sternly. "But in my head it all makes sence, why does noone else see?" Maria said genuinely confused as to why Audrey didn't understand her.
"Just talk to Liam, I think if you two talk it will help both of you"
Maria sighed knowing Audrey was right. "Ye i'll go over now, he forgot Erin's pink bunny so I can take that to" Maria said putting on her coat and picking up Erin's favourite toy rabbit.

Maria pressed Liam's intercom button repeatedly getting slightly frustrated with the fact there was no answer. Frowning she mused that he had probably taken Erin to visit her new baby sister. Poor Tony was likely sat there none the wiser that the tiny girl he was gushing over was likely the product of some sort of incestuous affair between the former in-laws. Maria smiled as someone exited the complex and held the door open for her. "There you go love." The woman smiled as Maria managed a smile back, anger rising as she headed to the lift that would take her to the penthouse suite where Tony and Carla lived. "Stupid woman, this is no place to bring up kids!" Maria said to herself as she pressed the button to go to the top floor.

"I think she want's her mummy." Liam said as Kalie whimpered slightly and scrunched her tiny little hand up. Liam passed her to Carla who headed to the bedroom having not expressed any milk and not sure Liam would be comfortable seeing her breast-feed after having been there at the birth, through no fault of his own. "Aww see told you she at least might be embarrassed!2 Michelle teased as Liam blushed slightly.

"erm liam i didnt really say thank you for erm being there for carla" Tony said awquardly not really knowing what you say to your wifes ex lover when they've just watched your wife give birth to your daughter. "no problems mate, wont be doing it again in a hurry though" Liam said showing Tony his hand where the bruising was starting to go down.  "for god sake bang on the door why dont yah" Tony said as someone banged on the door, waking Elliot up who rubbed his eyes tiredly. Tony opened the door, as Maria barged in, "i knew it i knew you'd be here, how could you how could you" Maria said as she began hitting out at liam. "what the hell are you doing" Michelle said pulling Maria away from liam as Liam pointed at his daughter who was now crying because of all the shouting her mother was doing. "look, Look what your doing to your daughter" Liam said as he walked over to Erin and picked her up. "can you just leave" Tony said through gritted teeth as he held Elliot who was also getting upset.

"what the hells going on" Carla said walking though holding Kalie, "like you dont know, why are you so determined to ruin my life, what have i ever done to you" Maria said as michelle held her back not knowing if she was going to flip out again. "Get her out of my house before i throw her out" Tony stated as Liam placed Erin on the sofe before grabing Maria and draging her out.

Liam closed the door behind himself and Maria although Maria continued to bang on the door like a woman possesed. "She's not your baby Tony, dont be fooled those two are at it every time our back is turned" She screamed.

Inside the flat the occupants could hear every word. Tony stood staring at Carla hurt painted all over his face. Kalie was screaming in Carla's arms, her feed having been interupted. Carla gently rocked her looking at a saddend Tony. "Why would she say that?" he asked quietly.
Michelle was unsure what to do but she picked up a crying Erin and held her close. Elliot looked at his parents through tears, in his mind they had forgotten about him and he curled up with his blanket in fright. Michelle quickly put a spare arm around him "Hey dont be scared, its ok Ell" Michelle siad trying to comfort him but Maria's banging and screaming could still be heard. Elliot and Erin both cried in fright. "Hey why dont we go play in your room" Michelle said to Elliot. She picked up Erin and took Elliot by the han into his room where the noise would be less.

"Please stop Maria, you can't turn up at people's houses and shout around acusations like that. He was seriously starting to worry about Maria, this wasn't the woman he had fallen in love with.

In the lounge Tony still stood looking at Carla. Carla didn't want to get angry and upset her tiny daughter further but she couldn't believe Maria had ruined the special day for her. "you don't believe her do you?" Carla asked trying to keep calm. "I don't know what to believe anymore" Tony said sadly.
"you should believe me your wife, mother of your children"
"I want to" Tony said looking at Kalie who was still screaming in Carla's arms.
Carla just looked into Tony's eye's deeply hurt that he was even considering Maria's madness. "Watch your daughter while I put a stop to this" Carla said annoyed she was having to leave Kalie hungry to sort out this mess. She passed a screaming Kalie to Tony, trying hard not to notice his reluctance before leaving the flat.

Maria lunged at Carla as she opened the door and Liam had to hold her back. "Please Maria, you have to calm down" he said tears brimming in his eyes at his wife's state. "You happy your homewrecking has turned me into this?" Maria hissed at Carla trying to escape Liam's arms. 

Carla shook her head slightly as she faced Maria. "Wh..where have you even got this notion from? Wh..why would we do that?" Carla asked tearfully trying to block the screams of her tiny daughter from her head as she addressed Maria. "Oh come off it. Don't play the innocent with me. You've been wanting to get your talons into him since he got back with me. You can't bear the fact that you aren't the centre of attention!" Maria spat  shrugging Liam off her, though he stayed by her should she try to lunge again for Carla. "I love Tony, you silly cow. You talk about me been a homewreaker but what are you trying to do? Split up a family, make Tony doubt the fact that little girl is his. Kalie is his daughter, Liam and I haven't been intimate since when we were together for that short time." Carla said angrily as bitter tears rose in her green eyes.

Tony was stood bewildered in the centre of the living area with Kalie in his arms, he still not knowing whether or not he truly believed that Kalie was his daughter. She was screaming blue murder clearly less than happy that her feed was been delayed. Tony furrowed his brow studying her tiny features looking for similarities between her and Elliot when he was little. He smiled slightly as he realised she had totally inherited Carla's genes, she was doubtlessly going to be a perfect minature of his wife.

Finally liam snapped " maria I can't take this anymore, if you don't trust me then maybe we shouldn't be together, I'm filling for divorce!!!. An angry liam stormed back into carlas appartment, carla stared at maria for a moment before following liam into the appartment.

 A shocked maria composed herslef before setting off back home. He head asking a thousand questions. Was liam right? maybe we shouldn't be togehter? Are finished for good? A the words liam said finally sunk in maria could only watch as the stray tears fell from eyes as she drove home??

Mean while liam had collected erin, apologised for marias behaviour and left for home. His head too asking a thousand questions. Michelle left shortly afterwards deciding that carla and tony want time alone with there son ans newborn. Carla had finally maniaged to talk sense into tony that the baby was hes - a guilt ridden tony comferted calling feeling ashamed for believing maria and doubting carla.

Liam stormed into his flat fuming at Maria. Trying not to show his rage he put Erin down on her play mat. She seemed to be slightly calmed after the fright Maria had given her. Liam watched her pick up her toys and he was satisfied she didn't seem to affected by the days events. He was thankfull that she was too young to understand what was going on. Liam ran his hand throough his hair. He was so embaressed by Maria's outburst. He hoped Carla and Tony would speak to him again. He new they had been looking forward to having Kalie home and now they instead of a fresh start old woulnds were being opened.
He looked at a picture of him, Maria and Erin at christmas. They all looked so happy, where did it all go wrong.

A few floors above there was a cold atmosphere in Tony and Carla's. "Im really sorry, but surely you can't blame me, Maria was so sure..." Tony started but Carla interupted putting on a relaxed voice so she wouldn't upset a scared Elliot any further. "I don't want to talk about this just now, Elliots really upset and I need to feed Kalie, so can you please just look after him" Carla said rocking her very hungry daughter. "Of course" Tony said sadly realising how angry Carla was with him. Tony bent down to Elliots level where he was hugging a teddybear close. "Come here little man" Tony said lifting Elliot into his arms.
Carla walked into her bedroom "You can feed her out here, its just me and Elliot now" Tony suggested. Carla glared at Tony "Im happy in the bedroom" she said wanting to vent her anger at Tony but aware of Elliots little ears.
As Kalie fed Carla let herself cry, the day was ruined and now she knew how little trust she had in her marriage.

Maria entered her house and Audrey was waiting on her. "so howd it go?" Audrey asked. Maria burst into tears "It was awful he was there like I thought with her and that baby" Maria cried. Audrey wrapped her arms round Maria "Oh you poor love"
"She's always going to be there, isnt she" Maria sobbed.

"well she is his sister in law and they are freinds" Audrey reasoned as Maria laughed "sister in law?, Pauls been dead years, neither him or her mention him and well in that case why did he sleep with her thats sick, their sick".

"what are we going to do with your mum?" Liam asked his little girl knowing she wasnt able to understand him,  but he kinda needed someone to just listen to him. "daddy loves mommy you know, its just, she's changed, we both have, she hurt daddy but daddys should have understood things her way or at least tried to but, i dont know, things happen" Liam said as his daughter looked up at him tiredly "lets get your bottle and bed aye princess"

"Elliot who do you want to put you to bed, mummy or daddy" Carla asked as she walked out of the bedroom and placed Kalie in her moses basket next to the sofa. "mummy" Elliot said as he climed down of Tonys lap and tiredly rubbed his eyes before running off into his bedroom in search of his favourite book. "Dinosaurs under the bed again?" Carla asked as he held the book up cheekily, "yep, me like it"

"didnt think he'd fall asleep that fast" Tony said as carla walked out of Elliots bedroom, Carla was slightly shocked to see Tony pasing up and down the lounge with Kalie held to his shoulder. "i've changed her nappy and have put her in a clean babygrow to go to bed in, just working on getting her to sleep" Tony explained, "looks like she's gone" Carla said blankly before kissing her baby girl on the head, "you might as well put her down in our room".

"why?" carla asled as Tony walked out of their room baby monitor in hand. "why dont you trust me" she asked as Tony shook his head "i do" he argued. "clearly" carla answered shaking her head. "i thought we were stronger than this i mean were married for god sake, we've got two beautifull children but you dont even trust me enough to believe their your"

"I do trust you" Tony protested.
"No Tony I saw the way you looked at me when Maria was spouting all that rubbish, we've just brought home our beautiful daughter, we should be closer now than ever, but no, all I get is dirty looks and accusations of cheating" Carla said angrily.
"She was just so sure and I love Kalie so much, I needed to be sure" Tony tried to explain.
"Well at least you waited till we had got home this time to accuse me of cheating, I'd barely caught my breath back from having Elliot and you were demanding a DNA test" Carla said remembering back to Elliots birth.
"That was two years ago and I apolagised to you when I got the results"
"And yet here we are again, we've been through so much since then and you still don't trust me" carla said saddened.
Carla took Tonys hand in hers and looked into his eyes "Tony, I would never cheat on you, you and the children mean everything to me" she said seriously.
"But you did, it might have been along time ago, but it still happend" Tony said sadly breaking his eye contact with Carla.

Having settled Erin in bed. Liam sat on the couch and ficked on the TV. He didn't fancy facing the empty bed quite yet. He flicked aimlessly through the channel's wandering how he had ended up on his own again. He missed Maria so much but how could he be with someone that believed he was such a cheat? He had made mistakes in the past but since he and Maria got back together he had been nothing but faithful. 

Carla sighed softly as Tony's words stung slightly. He was right but that was years ago and she and Liam both realised they had made a dreadful mistake, they were too passionate, too flightly to be a couple. They'd have killed one another before long. "You know I thought you knew how much I loved you, but I must have been mistaken."

"I know you love me Carla but put yourself in my place. You and Liam were together once an..and well you have been closer in the past months." Tony stated as Carla shook her head slightly.

"Yeah because he felt guilty, he didn't like seeing me struggle with looking after you and Elliot whilst been heavily pregnant. It isn't easy you know having a husband getting over been shot and a toddler to keep occupied. He was trying to help me out." Carla said as her green eyes shimmered. She hated that her past misdemeanor had made Tony so doubtful of her.

Liam sighed as he looked at his wedding photo on the side next to one of he and Maria with Erin. He wanted his wife back but not when she was acting like an irrational harpie, spouting rubbish about him and Carla, upsetting everyone in the process. He wandered how Carla was and whether she and Tony were having some awkward discussion in their apartment. After all whilst Tony had been all pleasentness earlier, he couldn't help but detect a slight doubt when Tony looked over at Carla and Kalie, as though he wasn't sure she was his.  

"look im sorry for doubting you, but surely you must get why" Tony protested as carla shook her head

"yeah i cheated on you in the past, but i cheated on him with you, why would i have done that if i love liam not you" Carla said as tony laughed slightly at how stupid that statement sounded

"exacily, you havnt had any problem cheating in the past, I love you i really do, more than anything but trust you thats a whole new issue and Carla, right now i still cant do that 100%" Tony stated as Carla nodded "fine then, but dont exspect me to stand by knowing you dont believe a word i say"

Meanwhile Maria walked into Erins room, a half filled suitecase in her hands. she began picking out a few bits and bobs of Erins clothing and throwing it in the case. Getting her phone out she dialed a number "hiya, alright mum, yeah i should be over midday monday, yeah, no going back now, he wants divorce papers well im not going to stop him getting them"

Tony frowned as Carla headed to the bedroom without looking back. He knew he'd hurt her but he was been honest, he still felt threatened at times by Liam's prescence in their lives. He could hear her sniffing from their bedroom and he felt his heart ache that she was so upset on a day they should be happy about. After all they'd just brought their new baby girl home, they should be celebrating with a glass of vintage champagne, not brooding in different rooms. He frowned not knowing whether she'd let him sleep in the same bed as her tonight, she was clearly more  upset than he thought and he needed to show her that the last thing he wanted was their relationship to suffer. After all there was two little ones to think about, it wasn't just about the pair of them anymore.

Maria had sorted out her passport and Erin who'd had one from 3 months old when they took her to Cyprus to visit Maria's parents. Thus Maria didn't have to sort one out. If Liam wanted to be with blooming Carla then he could be but he wasn't having Erin. No he could play daddy to Elliot and well she was almost certain that Carla's baby daughter was Liam's anyway. So he'd have children and well he wouldn't want Erin any longer.
