Ive just been watching the news and feel so sorry for the people of Sheffield and Rotherham, they have really suffered dreadfully. I thought we had it bad in our area but now they are saying a dam is likely to collapse and that would be catastrophic and also predicting even more rain for them

Yes, I was shocked watching the news too, it's so bad in some areas :( and that poor young man who lost his live, it's just terrible !
Might have a look at the news in a min, see if there's any news on that dam.

On a lighter note, it's been lovely here today, gorgeous sun all day but a very cold wind.

the weather here in Edinburgh has been horrendous, luckily we live on a hill so not any great flooding as such, but the rain has been torrential plus 3 lots of thundr and lightening, last night was the worst rain i have ever seen it was raining so hard that the whole town came to a hault as you coudnt see infront of yourself, and huge hailstones at 5.30 last night which doesnt make sense as it is so warm  it is ok now but huge black clouds looming so it will start again, crazy

Well we were forecast torrential rain and thunder storms in the far north of England today. Apart from the odd spot of rain around lunchtime, we haven't had a drop! It's been sunny and windy all day!
