What I dislike about this storyline is the way the writers are painting poor old Tyrone as the village idiot - okay, he's no Jezza Paxman, but Kev's hardly Einstein either! They seem to be presenting Ty as a lovable doofus who is becoming increasingly less lovable and more of a doofus as the weeks go by. And why is Molly so straight-faced with him all the time? They've barely blown the confetti off their bedsheets for Cliff's sake (as Rik from the 'Young Ones' would say)!
I'm finding this whole luurve story so sickening and - worse than that - unconvincing. You'd think that Mol had been forced into an arranged marriage rather than a love match. And remember how desperate she was when she thought Ty was being unfaithful to her! This is why it just doesn't ring true.
Oh, and I'd like to join any campaign going to send Michelle on a permanent tour with her cheesy band (to anywhere that isn't on telly basically).
