Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

I have only gone through the hassles of registering because I was so annoyed at your pathetic *** up...it is really embarrassing that you are showing the FA Cup...not only has the competition suffered from managers fielding second rate teams , Man U dropping out altogether etc but just as it is about to claw back some credibility with some very exciting giant killing feats last year but then it gets the biggest kick in the teeth in its entire history...the ITV!!! Moronic coverage of the 3rd and 4th round with Kettering not even getting a live game...bizarre pictures taken at ground level in another...what happens in the 5th round..one of your pundits with a camara phone? Only worried that when the football comes up for review and you lose it altogether you will try to get hold of cricket..that should finish that off as well...I guess you are just getting set up for the 2012 Olympics...can you imagine the 100 metres with Bolt stretching into the blocks as we head off for another commercial....incredible!

    Shocking

I second all the sentiments here.

    What an absolute joke.

I was astonished when they cut away at the critical moment a few minutes from the end of that f1 race in 2005; after hours of build up, one of the most amazing televised finishes to an f1 race EVER, was replaced by an ad break:http://boakes.org/formula1-ad-boycott/

In that case Ofcom ruled they had breached the rules on advertising in sport: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/broadcasting/a22709/126-viewers-complain-over-itv-f1-ad-break.html

Well in this case, could it be more clear cut that ITV have cheated their viewers? They cut away at the critical moment a few minutes from the end; after hours of build up, one of the most amazing finishes to a derby match EVER, was replace by an ad break. Sound familiar? Crazier still it's football for goodness sake! Do we have to spell it out that you don't put adverts on whilst the ball is in play?!

I call on ITV to demonstrate they are sorry, by removing ad breaks from the next big game they show, e.g. Spain v England a week tonight. If they do, I think Ofcom should wave the fine which must surely be on its way.

I can't believe you've just said that! do you work for itv by any chance??????

The fact is that  - yes they mesed up by showing adverts instead of football.

They then compounded their mistake with a bullsh#*t apology that gives the impression that the viewing public are all naive dumbas*es!!

Yes admit the mistake and apologise with a genuine excuse not *** and bull!!!!

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

SO WE ALL WATCH A MATCH 'LIVE', BUT ITV MISS THE 'LIVE' GOAL.

    WHAT A MONUMENTAL *** UP!

WHY DON'T THEY JUST LEAVE SPORT TO THE PROFESSIONALS - BBC AND SKY.

THEY WIN THESE SPORTS RIGHTS BUT IT IS A JOKE, ERROR AFTER ERROR.

NOW.........LOOK AWAY NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THE MATCHWINNING GOAL.  OR IF YOU ARE QUICK, TUNE INTO BBC RADIO FIVE LIVE.........

    ITV, PLEASE, PLEASE GIVE UP.!

I suggest people e-mail viewerservices@itv.com  as I doubt very much that anyone reads these messages.  I have e-mailed them and told them, in no uncertain terms, that I think they're prats. I suggest others do the same.

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

ITV SPORT should be banned fromshowing any kind of sport.
They wrecked Formula One every year coz of the ad breaks (yes thats how they pay the bills) now last night waqs a shambles. 2 and a half hours, waiting for a goal, then with 2 mins to go, cut away to an ad break, come back Everton score.
Technical problems - no, ITV for me this year have killed the FA Cup.
No, iam not a Liverpool fan either.
    SHAME ON ITV

Re: FA CUP Everton v Liverpool

I've got to say im not an everton or liverpool fan, but to sit down and watch a game for 117 minutes and then not see the most important and best part of the game is disgusting. It just feels like i have wasted 3 hours of my day coz i didn't see it live. Yeah they have apologised but that doesn't make it better.

What about those poor everton fans who suddenly see their team celebrating? I knew it was bad news from the start when i heard ITV got F.A. Cup rights along with setanta.

BBC please do anything they can to get the right back for this magical cup competition that hasn't lost its spark, just this stupid channel decides to cut off when they feel like it.

Theres no way in the world that the BBC or SKY SPORTS would have done anything so embarassing like that, ITV should be ashamed of themselves and hand over all sporting rights they have to BBC, no adverts and much better coverage that way, and everyone will be happy.

    Re: Shocking

ITV you have truely outdone yourselves this time!

I dont even support liverpool or everton but wlove a good game of footy and this match has been one of the most nail bitein matches so far this season and you managed to mess it up! i was so shocked i thought my tele had broken! which im sure plenty of other people did too. How stupid do you actually have to be ITV??

Im a spurs fan and if this had happened when spurs were playing i dont know what i woulda done besides break something very expensive!

This is totaly unacceptable ITV and somethings gotta be done,

everyone should go on ITV strike and not watch the channel cos they obviously cant even tie their own shoe laces let alone run a tv station.

christ sort it out!!! and those gay technical hitch *** aint gonna wash with us the mighty public!

    bunch of dicks!
