This young actor although a very good actor I agree, has done something very wrong and been violent to another person. In the real world people are sacked every day for things they do outside work in their private lives, and although I have some sympathy for him as he is young I do think he should, as he is in the public eye be held to account for his crime. Ben Freeman was rightly not allowed on screen until after his case what has happened since is a travesty and he should be invited back to Emmerdale as he was found not guilty.

Personally I would like to see all people in the public eye held to account for their actions just like the ordinary public are - we might not see so many "stars" in drugs and drink turmoil if they found they couldn't get away with it.

He isn't in Shameless, that's his twin brother, Elliott.

Yes  I know he did  something wrong  im not  saying he didnt and even he has  stated that he did ,I just mean  after a  reasonable time away  and he has  shown that he is changed so to speak  that it should be considered  it wouldnt be the same with some other  actor  playing the character considering since hes played daz  since he was a kid.Its just my opinion btw I will say that before  I  get told off like last time lol

 

oh also   luke was only in  shameless the first  season (I think) when he shared the role with elliot,when  luke left  to pla ydaz  in emmerdale then elliot took over the  role and  played  the character on his own ,Lukes not been in that show for years

I wonder if the decision will be the end of his acting career or if after a 'decent amount of time' he will get other work. He was a good actor and it's a shame, but maybe that's the price you have to pay for not being able to control yourself?

He is a good actor  and  I  really hope  some  time down the  line does get  to  come back I really hope  he does  come back even  Kelvin(andy )said in inside how he misses him  on set and how  good of a  actor  he is and that its  a great  lost.

Oh I know I really hope its  not  the end of hs  acting career.I guess no matter what we shall have  to wait  and see
