    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CAN THE XFACTOR MAKE SURE THE CONTESTENTS ARE WEARING EAR PIECES?

DANYL CAN CLEARLY SING BUT HE WAS OUT OF TUNE BECAUSE HE WASNT WEARING EAR PIECES! IT IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR ON THE CONTESENTS

ALSO WHY IS CHERYL COLE SO HORRIBLE TO DANYL??  SHE HAS TOTALLY DENTED HIS CONFIDENCE EVEN MORE AND I REALLY FEEL FOR HIM.

I HOPE HE STAYS IN AND PROVES HIMSELF NEXT WEEK, GOOD LUCK DANYL, YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!

dont know about earpieces but i need earplugs after reading your last two posts

posting in all caps doesn't mean that anyone is going to take your post more seriously you know

i dont think an earpiece would have made any difference to danyl last night, the guy has just lost his confidence completely and looked like he had given up. tbh i have never really understood what was so good about him in the first place, hitting the occasional big note and juggling your mic while running around the stage like a headless chicken doesn't make you a singing sensation.

i hope the guy stays in as tbh i cant stand the prospect of having to watch the twins murder another classic song next week but i think he is in trouble this week.

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

I think Danyl is the best performer on the show. He could also perform well as a guest on any other show. He was also invited to the states (just like Susan Boyle), but declined the invite to finish the x-factor...., now he's being torn apart by the likes of Cheryl (wannabee pornstar) and Louis (wannabee something).

Cheryl can't sing half as well as Danyl and that's her problem..., or is that she's met a guy who doesn't actually fancy her? She's being #### for some reason, and that's my guess.

    Ear pieces, yes, why not.

In response to 884281 -before last weeks programme the media in the Republic of Ireland publicised an internet method of voting for the twins, circumventing the land line phone-in, which they are not allowed to use.Although many in Ireland are embarassed by them, there is also a very concerted campaign to keep them there, simply because they are Irish ! I heard it myself on RTE radio -the website address given out and then people phoning in to plead with the public in Ireland to vote for them.

I wonder how the Irish would feel if the UK saturated voting in one of their competitions??

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

I like Danyl but I do think he's shown that he's not really cut out for this type of job. I know he's been ripped apart, and I do feel sorry for him, but everyone in the public eye gets it at some stage. Imagine going to see Danyl live and he;'s had a bad day and he turns up on stage with a face like last night - Who wouldn't be asking for a refund? He is good and he needs to pick himnself back up and get on with it!

As for the twins - Words just fail me, cant sing cant dance - If they had any grace they would bow out and let the others fight it out fairly!

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

It is Simon's fault.  He is always saying it is a singing contest then tonight puts it to the public vote when he knows, as we all do that Rachel is a better singer than Lloyd.  If it is about singing he should have saved Rachel(and I'm not a Rachel fan).

He had the chance to make the issue about the actlly quality of singing not public opinion.

Its funny because I live in Southern Ireland and I listen to RTE radio and I read two Irish newspapers a day and watch Irish T.V and I have never heard anything like that mentioned.  I have a teenage daughter and not one person that she knows has heard about this.  So I can't understand how you would think that Irish have saturated the voting in a U.K competiton.  I would have thought that the only way people from Southern Ireland could vote is by running across the Border each weekend. Confused or maybe using a sim card from Northern Ireland but not sure if that would work.

Don't suppose you could let everyone know the name of the website Wink

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

The website name was given out on the Colm and Jim-Jim breakfast show, and there is no way I would repeat it -the twins have had enough publicity as it is. It is a web site which allows people to use te web to register a "phone-in" vote. Was followed a few days later by publicity on the Gerry Ryan show urging people to vote for them by the site. You just don't listen to the right shows!!

The breakfast show also predicted that the twins will be in until the 4th show from the end...lets see if they are right!

Thanks for that jed54.  I never listen to Colm and Jim-Jim but I do however listen to Gerry most days.  I did hear him talk each morning after 9 last week ( or it may have been Evelyn standing in for him) about John and Edward but must have just missed about the website.  I never actually said that I wanted to vote for the twins but wouldn't mind being able to vote for Joe.  Have to just add that if people think that John and Edward are the most annoying duo in Ireland then they have never listened to Colm and Jim-Jim .  Wink

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

It really gets my goat that Simon and the week before Cheryl deferred a decision on eviction to defer to the phone voting - very diplomatic??? They are paid a amazing salary to mentor and judge. Hard decisions go with the territory and it was quite clear on each occasion the correct decision. Cop out or what!!

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

    notkenny:

I'd like to start off by saying "Thank you".

A "Thank You" to Louie Walsh for putting the worst duo in the history of the X-Factor through to the finals.

It might only be me, though it probably isn't, but all the judges spout the phrase "Judging on who will do the best in the live finals, I've decided to put through..." just before they destroy the hopes and dreams of the ones who came so far and didn't manage to get into the Live Show.
Now, forgive me if I insult any of you who like the dynamic, hairstyle-crazy duo, but anyone who votes for them and their reason isn't
"They're the same nationality as me"
what the hell is wrong with you?

I'm trying to understand, as best as I can, why in the world Louie put through two of the most tone deaf, smart-alec, disgusting, conniving people in Great Britain. I couldn't agree more with Simon on the fact that they are obnoxious, slimey and haven't got a hope in hell when it comes to singing, but it's just too unbelievable to be true.
Sure, aside from the strippers and the group of girls who banded together from the solo artists, none of the other 4 acts in the Final 6 were that great. But it's not as if one of the other groups could have developed their sound as the show went on.

They put in a terrible, monotonous performance in the final 6 and, for what seemed to be most of the song, were singing exactly the same melody as each other. It's not the first time, but at least the other guy duo tried extremely hard to make harmonies work.
John and Edward were mediocre at best at the first audition, backstabbing leeches at Boot Camp and spineless melody singing field mice at the Final 6.

For the next series, if the producers plan on making the X Factor any more similar to Britains Got Talent than it already is, I'd love to see the inclusion of buzzers for the audition stage.
It makes it more comforting when Simon can express his displeasure with an act by a loud obnoxious sound that ISN'T the act that's currently up on stage.

So, going back to my original statement:

    Thank you, Louie Walsh.
Thank you for making Simon's job, Cheryl's job and Danni's job of generating a winner a hell of a lot easier. Because if it gets to the live finals and these pair aren't voted out first, there is something clinically wrong with Great Britain and I can finally make up my mind to move to a country where the underdog isn't the winner every single god damned time.

It's appalling that these two are allowed more than 2 minutes of screen time on Prime-Time National TV.
Never mind the fact that people will possibly be paying to see these two on the X Factor Live Tour.

    Re: An X-Factor Complaint

After John and Edward preformed their second song.  The audience started booing.  Louie Walsh then turned to the audience and stuck up his fingers.  I thought x factor was a family show.
