Hello Aunty Guidey here,..

 

new to these forums,.. so please be kind to me and bear with me,.. lolxxx

 I have watched This Morning since Richard & Judy were on,.. and now Fern & Philip,.. but the best combination, without any doubt is Eamon & Ruth. They are so down to earth and natural. They have no pretence about them when they are onscreen, and my desire is that they will be on there permantly.

 Maybe because of Eamons Sky News commitments, he may not be able to commit himself permantly to This Morning,... but Ruth is the obvious replacement for Fern,.. because of her lovely, natural charm.

I think I can speak for a fair majority of the audience,..( waiting to be flamed for saying that,..lol). What would we do without This Morning?! lol!! This & Loose Women are my favourite programmes, without a doubt. I don't even watch BBC in the morning!!! I watch everything ITV, especially the ITN News.

 Keep the ads comin in, it kills me we have to pay a license for BBC!!!

Eamonn & Ruth????  Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!

I cannot abide this couple at all.  If either one of them gets the show full-time then here is one person who will definitely be tuning out.

Today we had this "loving" couple have a spat over a cooking demonstration about whether Ruth was honest about her statement that she loved smoked mackerel.  Not only was it downright bad manners to keep interrupting the demonstration, but for a husband to call his common-law wife a liar on air made me feel very, very, uncomfortable.  When was it courteous to override another person's air-time with your own personal digs at each other?  Their egotistical jibes at each other are just as bad at the Katie & Peter spats, and I can't stand that bad-mannered couple either.  

Please, ITV .. give them the boot!

Has anyone considered Julie Peasgood as an alternative to Fern?  I think she and Philip would compliment each other wonderfully.

Never done this before so here goes.

Is it just me or does Eamon Holmes come accross as really smug and self satisfied? When I switch on in the morning and find him there I automaticaly turn over to BBC.

He was just about bearable on GMTV but when I see him interviewing people on This Morning when he constantly interups his partner it just makes me switch off..

Hollyoaks Vs Galaxy Spartans

The Children’s Foundation is teaming up with Galaxy radio to host a football match between FA cup heroes Blyth Spartans plus Galaxy guests and the hunks of channel 4’s hit show Hollyoaks. The charity match takes place on Sunday the 21st June at the Spartan’s newly re-developed ground Croft Park.

This is also my first time . So here goes. I find Eamonn very smug and self satisfied and he is always talking down to Ruth and he also talks over who ever he is interviewing. Please dont let him come on more than once a week and sometimes that is too much !

Right im not sure if anyone can help me. But im a big fan of David Boreanaz from Bones and he is on This Morning next week. Does anyone know what day he is on and where the studios are as I would like to go and see if I could get to meet him.

I agree with what you say about eamon and ruth and never watch when they are on. I love Phil and Fern and am really sorry that Fern is going. I think Jackie Brambles would be good and wonder if it could be her as she is leaving Loose Women.

I totally agree - the couple are a real turn-off.  I find Ruth to be far too 'smiley smiley' even when she is interviewing people about serious and sad subjects, she always looks as if she is about to howl with laughter.  At least Phil and Fern were sensitive when giving serious and sad interviews.

Well I'm going to put my speak in and I have to say I love Ruth and Eamonn. He is just a down to earth man  and I love his sense of humour. I think Ruth is lovely and really sweet and very genuine actually. I actually think she's quite nervous at times, not overly confident, kind of modest and I think thats quite becoming in a person. All interviewing styles differ according to the presenters own make-up but I think Ruth and Eamon are both very sincere.I also think they're mad about each other and I love reading their article in a weekly magazine ( not too sure if I'm allowed to name it!). Yip, I'm a big fan!!

I didn't think Eamonn had a sense of humour!  If he has he doesn't show it very much, he comes across as too laid back and you can tell they are mad about each other actually, as it really shows and I think it interferes with their job, Ruth has a permanent grin like the cat who just got the cream.  They are just not real professionals.  I am so glad she is not replacing Fern!

so holly willoughby got this morning job, it seems philip schofield demanded the job,for her, he has a cheek as he is lucky to be in the shoes he is in as he was lucky getting the job after stealing it from john leslie , ruth langford should have got the job, as  she is all ready doing the job, on fridays, i wont be watching anymore,as i dont want willoughbys breasts for breakfast,but she will probably cover up now but not out of choice out of so she can keep her job,as when on dancing on ice, she refused to cover up , so this morning has lost one viewer , for one  i think a lot will join me    from angus cat

I will miss the great spark that phil and fern have.they have cheered me up for meny years and have been very entertaining.good luck with whatever you choose to do in the future fern and to the press stop giving fern a hard time!!!!!

And to phil thankgoodness you will still be heading the show im sure you and holly will take the show in a diffrent direction but it will still be a success. good luck to you both. rachel from bournemouth.xxxx

I sawJohn Leslie on todays show. It was such a shame what happened to him. I'm not going to go into too much about it all, but I had very strong feelings at the time. I still feel that what happened was very unfair and I thought he had been conveniantly forgotten by This Morning. I think ITV should give him another position somewhere he seems such as decent bloke. I remember him on Blue Peter years ago, I thought he was great then and I still do now. I just wanted to show my support for him that is all, and that there are still members of the public who would like to see him back on TV.             Jules x        luv yer Johnx
