    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

What you are all forgetting is that the films are edited to make it look like I get lost all the time. Who do you think films all the cars arriving at their destinations at the end of each day ????..............Yeah you're right not me !!

    Stick out tongue

Just think on, Team 3 will be the victors following the AUDI RS4, as we all know that AUDI stands for Audis Ultimately Drive Insane.........and before the comments start flooding in, no it doesn't stand for Astonishingly Ugly Driver Inside...................although I can't speak for all of us  Big Smile

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Dude good to have you back, and in good spirits i see. Mate for you to be filming the cars arriving would be a mirracle and it would deffinately be dark. I don't think you have ever arrived at a destination with the sun still up. Oh well can't wait for the team allocation, see the forum light up and e-mails fly then, as i am sure the will be plenty of comments like "how the hell can i get out of being in team 3". Dude One of the newbies (never met) you have already said "please not team 3. Your reputation proceeds you my freind. Geeked

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

As long as we can convince the Team Boss that he needs to travel at the back of the pack (to make sure WE don't get lost of course) we in team 3 should be fine. Come on Gary.....time for the backlash to begin!!

    Craig........correct pal.

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

I am Slightly Large & Round Ian.

I have a tired 944 turbo, a very tired Triumph Spitfire, a Subaru (the Wife's) and a Diesel Jaguar (the company's) but unfortunatly, no McLaren!

Maybe if I sell my soul.Devil

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

As Craig knows, we're not choosing a weapon until much nearer the time which makes life interesting...... so at the moment it's looking a little bit like a diesel Range Rover Sport? Crying

having not done the event before we'd be interested to know what the best type of vehicle is?  Does it need to be as fast a leary as possible or something that is comfortable but can cruise at a decent pace?

We're thinking Audi RS4/6, Merc CL AMG or Bentley GT, any other suggestions sub £100k?

Just noticed we're lucky NUMBER 7!!!

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

AAhh That must be Russell or James

Don't worry too much, all of the above will be great in their own way.

It's the team your in that will make all the difference.  All i will say is that Gary could (possibly) go of course and Craig's team will have to slow down at every bend, where as my team will keep a steady pace going.

Either way it will be great fun
