You don't count wind-ups/laughing at other people as a form bullying then?  And Kilroy was quite right about Timmy's cackling - hardly what you expect from "team-mates" supposedly urging one of their team to pass as many tasks as possible.    I think they were probably sent in to wind up as many people as possible.  If not then it seems it was just a clash of personalities (between Kilroy & Timmy and Nicola & David).  Had the others not chosen sides perhaps it wouldn't have escalated.

p.s. I don't think Nicola's all bad - she was quite sympathetic to Esther when she had a weep about her late husband.  Strange how the girl turned on her later though in such a totally insensitive way after being so supportive a few days earlier.  Maybe David brought out the worst in her?

Lol. I don't think it takes much to bring out the worst in Nicola. ;)

Also I think you are being hyper-sensitive on what constitutes a "wind-up". They don't need to be cruel or malicious. In fact that's just bullying disguised as such. I enjoy a bit of wind up myself with friends and like DvD's it's just playful and harmless.

I much rather have that than have someone verbally insulting me at every opportunity both to my face and behind my back.

"with friends".  Exactly.  They're ok if done with friends but not on people you don't know very well or don't particularly get along with.  Remember Tim & Dawn constantly winding up Gareth in the Office.  May have been "playful and harmless" to them but not to Gareth.  Having said that I take your point - they aren't necessarily malicious or cruel.  I think David's mistake was in trusting Nicola enough to attempt a wind-up because the way she reported back made Joe think it was malicious.  btw planning a wind-up is also done behind someone's back and how are they to know that it is done without spite or malice if they don't know you very well?

Hard not to feel sorry for David though when, in trying to work out why Nicola had taken a dislike to him, he asked Timmy "what have I done".  Bless!

btw very cruel of programme makers to decide to show both Timmy and David clips of the others bitching about them especially after David had just finished saying what a great team they were that remained.  Nasty real nasty!
