Please please get rid of her now, its getting ridiculas, roxy was good tonight and she never got a high mark which she deserved, please ruthie take off the zoe glasses she did not deserve a 6

Tell me how she got the job in the first place

Ok despite being one of Ruthie's biggest fans, I agree with you that Zoe didn't deserve a 6 and Ruthie is beginning to show some very clear biased which as a judge she shouldn't be.  I do however think it was much better than Roxanne's and was full of genuine enjoyment and razzle dazzle.

Having said this, I do not agree that we should get rid of Ruthie, her judging is no more RIDICULOUS than Jason's and she is a lot more gentle with her comments!

I don't really understand how you can blame Ruthie for Roxanne having been voted out - please explain?  Roxanne WAS very good tonight and I think it was a very difficult choice to make between her and Zoe but I believe all of the judges chose Zoe because she is more confident on the ice, a better dancer, more expressive and a better all round performer.  I also don't think Roxanne helped herself by talking to Ruthie the way she did when she was giving her comments after her routine, did anyone notice that?  How is that more acceptable than Ruthie's comments the previous week?  She was actually giving her some positive critique!!!

How did Ruthie get the job in the first place?  Well, as has been mentioned on here previously, she has 23 years experience in the performing arts.  She is a fantastic dancer and singer and a stunning actress, I think this could be a contributing factor!!!

    Re: Get Rid of Ruthie

It just showed this evening that, once again Ms Henshall's judging ability must be in serious question.  Jason's comment of "your favourite" must have been heard by the majority of people.  And it was a foregone conclusion who she would vote to save in the skateoff (I wonder if she would have dared to do the same if it had been Ray against Zoe?).  Anyway, her favourite's out of the picture - I wonder who her next favourite is?

    Re: Watch Out Ruthie

Totally agree - Ruthie was fawning over Zoe - She seemed to be all emotional last week over Zoe's performance, yet I watched the same routine and Zoe didn't have the same confidence with the baton that Roxy had with the chair.  It was really obvious that she wanted Zoe to win - and last night Jessica's performance was far better than Zoe's and yet Ruthie gave Zoe a 6.0!  And there's more - Ruthie gave Zoe the vote over Jess in the skate-off!  That was so obvious it was unbelievable - I was open-mouthed in amazement!

Ruthie did not give Zoe a 6 last night and if it was obvious that she was going to vote for Zoe why were you open-mouthed with amazement?!?!?!?!?

Ruthie rarely does speak over other judges.

Are we watching the same show?  It seems to me that if you watch the last few weeks shows you will find that Ruthie is interrupting more and more.  Ruthie used to be a great stage performer, but she was not a choreographer like Jason.  Considering that the reasoning behind non-skaters being on the panel is to judge the performance - Jasons presence could be justified - Ruthie's cannot be.

What is this woman watching.   How can she possibly justify giving Donal a full point more that Jessica?    Obviously Donal has replaced Zoe as her favourite.

    Re: Watch Out Ruthie

Please get rid of her, so makes my blodd boil.  She may be OK on the stage but on ice what the heck does she know.  She is very rude especially to women, poor Jessica got low marks very single time from Ruthie.  Get rid !!!!!

    Re: Watch Out Ruthie

I think people you need to look at the judges and what they bring to the show for their individual skills and talent.  Because its dancing on ice and not just skating on ice you need to see choreographers and people well into dance and music so that they can give their opinion on the skaters movements and interpretation of the music.

Nicky dont know much about street dancing and the way the body moves when doing thes type of dances and neither does cousins - not as well as jason and ruthie.

It is the slant of dancing that makes this show special and not just technical.  Ruthie is giving her opinion and if she has a favourite so what - that means that that favourite has done what she is supposed to do - touched the emotions of the judges when he/she is moving on ice.  Jason is usually spot on and the fact that he talks straight means the show is much more enjoyable because people find him more interesting than nicky slater.  They love watching him make a fool of himself and getting shouted down by the crowd.  Ruthie is a beautiful woman, a talented actor and west end musical star - she has just as much right to be there as any of them and you should listen to her opinion because shes usually right.

    Re: Watch Out Ruthie

I did think Nicky went a bit mad on marks for Coleen.  More importantly we don't need two baddies on the show.  I think Bonnie Langford would be a wonderful replacement for Ruthie, at least Bonnie has skated, and very successfully, she is also a true showgirl and I think would be much more sympathic and understanding of the contestants.  Let's have a true bit of showbiz on the panel!!!
