I am absolutely disgusted with the comments made by Dannii Minogue about Danyl's sexuality.  If this is some attempt to insinute that being gay is going to affect Danyl's votes, then you should be heartily ashamed of yourself.  Homophobic bullying has no place in Britain today, it is nothing less than this, if you disagree look up the definition of bullying.  If you want to discredit Danyl you should do it through bigging up your own acts.  You should apologise on national tv and leave the show. Who cares whether he is gay or straight of bisexual, i will vote for him on his singing alone. I used to think you were ok but I am so incensed by what you said, it seems to me that many others are too.

First time I've ever watched X Factor, and I must say that I was shocked by her comment too.  What has his sexuality got to do with this singing ability?!  Nowt love.  And I find it laughable that she's a judge at all.

I am appalled, and if there is no official apology this evening, I too will be contacting OFCOM to make an official complaint, as what happened in the live show was a breach of the OFCOM code of communication agreed by ALL broadcasters.

No one should be able to get away with the sort of flip, deeply offensive comment Danni made – and then repeated, in case anyone didn't hear it – the other night. 

As well as being homophobic, it was the lowest sort of cheap shot that ran the risk of causing huge problems for Danyl, and might even threaten his career. I just hope he wins.

 

 

 Dannii! How could you say something like that?!  She's being COMPLETELY homophobic. I'm watching the show at this very minute, and Dannii has just apoligized, she says "I apologize for anyone who got offended, It was only said in a humorous way, and I would never offended Daniel." 

Well done for her, but she better watch it, because if she says something like that again, I think that Simon should have SERIOUS words with her. :) 

Like a lot of people who have commented here I have never complained about a TV show before. Appalled by Danni's behaviour and the half hearted apology on Sunday's show.  As for her comment that Danyl was in on some kind of joke, watch the tape back Danni...you were totally out of order and Danyl like most of the nation looks horrified!
