    wardy03:

    Hi David,

Sorry, but the first dance with Sheena is mine and I am not going to risk missing that.!!

This is an admirable excuse, Wardy, and one I have no problem with. Besides, my dancing ability being virtually non-existent, I'm sure this is one of many areas in which your ability will far outshine my own.

However, at some point during the evening I will be hanging around hoping I get a chance with Sheena during an 'excuse me' - and yes, Wardy, I am old enough to know what that is!Smile

    wardy03:

As you are the resident musician on this thread I would be looking for odds on this one.!

Well, considering how the bookies have slashed the odds of the Jedwards from 50/1 to 10/1 - and people (including me, I'm ashamed to say) are giving a cool reception to Danyl despite his undoubted singing prowess - I think we can safely say that any kind of musical background is no advantage when it comes to deciding who the outright winner's going to be.

And whilst we're on the subject I still think it's a shame that this girl didn't make it through to the final twelve...

                                                         Treyc Cohen

... but then she was in Simon's over 25's group and it was a tough call. Personally I though she had real potential, at least as much as Jamie and Danyl, both of whom Simon chose instead of her.

But I have a feeling that Treyc is going to be one of those who comes back and gets another crack at this.

Here's a reminder of how good she was:

Treyc Cohen - He Fills Me Up

The above is an ITV link so I hope it gets through. But just in case you don't have Adobe installed then here's a YT link for exactly the same clip:

Treyc Cohen - He Fills Me Up

This one may not get through (polite request to the moderator to allow it) but fingers crossed, it will.

    wardy03:

It (the wager) will have to be something a little more apetizing than those bland Hawick balls I can tell you.!

Smile ... this from a man whose idea of 'appetising' is...

    wardy03:

    ...one can of cider.!

Wardy, I was under the impression that you and I would be sharing a draught pint or two, at least, whilst we were waiting for the result! Smile

But at least this has given me an idea for your Christmas present - not very expensive but in keeping with the thrifty ideal which seems close to your heart.Smile

All the best to you, Wardy! Yes

    David
