Lamborules.......I don't think so.........fellas, whichever team you put the Lambo's in, make sure the team leader has Euro Roadside Assistance on speed dial, cos you're gonna need it!

Landroverstormer - have you thought of a 1989 Sierra Cossie - I've seen a few about for sale that should come in under your budget......

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

So you finaly made it to the forum matt (car21) i think its going to be a bit like that with you on the run (always from behind)

James (car 7) all of you car choices are good, fast and comfortable. The only day agility will realy come into it is day3. And for those of us with turbo's we will be a bit down on power on this stage due to the altitude. All good stuff. Gary (car 32,team 3 leader) got lost today on the M1 Party!!!

    Night all

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Just wondering what most guys do regarding driving. Does everyone share the driving between the driver and co driver or not?Confused. We intend to as long as I get the good bits i.e not the motortways!Automobile (Paul can do that!!!!!)

Turbo boy are we on the route where Top Gear (Clarkson did anyway) test the Audi RS4, the one with those two obviously mad climbers?Confused

Just wondering if you can tell us where in Switzerland we will be staying (just which town will do).

    Looking forward to going!

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

Hi Martyn, with regards to the driving some share some don't. I have always done 100% of the driving and that will deffinately be the case this year, my co driver "Gids" is def and partially sighted (and massively over weight).

Yes we will be visiting the top gear route (climber + RS4) and our destination is swiss is on the amazing lake geneva (more details via phone).

The weeks a now quickly counting down, hehe

Hi superman good of you to join us, did you use your magic powers !! like the idea of you taking some bags, woudn't say it too load though as you will have a que from the lambo and ferrari boys, oh well at least their bags are guaranteed to get there. good point mat (rearviewmirror) about the road assist on spead dial for the lambo's, might dump them both in team 2, or maybe team 3

Tony any joy with the CLK63 AMG BLACK

Howard Don't worry too much about the bags

Howard, We also have an estate car running ahead that will have some space for bags.

Tony, if you do bring the trotter mobile, who will be Del and who Rodders ?

Gids, thanks for your input, dreams keep the world spinning !

    Re: Rabbit Run 2008

    Hi Boys

Hope you are all well. Good of you to join us Gids and looking forwards to scaring you in the turbo.

H the bag offer may have won you a spot in the best and the winning team, TEAM 1.

T if you don't get the CLK 63 AMG at least you will stll have an excuse for hanging out the back

P I think the route for RR08 should prove to be awesome. Day 1 a far few motorways, Day 2 Tunnel after tunnel, Day 3 twists windy nearly all day, Day 4 some big roads. Quite right though Pete some of the roads on 2006 were awesome, but i think 2008 will prove to be even better, especially in teams. Now teams there is a mission in itself. Would love to know some of your thoughts

G you finaly made it home, well done !!!
