Roxanne Pallett, who plays Jo Stiles, told All About Soap magazine that she is proud to be an independent woman. She told the mag: “I was brought up by my mum and grandma, without a dad, which has been a blessing as I’ve turned out so independent. Growing up surrounded by women who did things for themselves was such a positive experience for me. And I think you should always be enough on your own.
