Amazing....in my experience the people in the Republic of Ireland NEVER EVER support anything to do with the English/British be it the Football team, cricket team, anything. Yet here we have an Irishman whingeing about not being recognised on a British TV programme...they want it all ways.
Am I qualified to make such comments? I think so....my Mum was from Ireland and I have dozens and dozens of cousins, Aunts, uncles friends and colleagues living out there and also over here and I don't know one of them who would support England (accept my dear old Mum). I have also lived out there and I can tell you that if you go into any Pub in Ireland (Republic) when there is a match on and you will here the locals shouting for whoever England is playing, be it Argentina or France or some unknown team. The truth is the Twins should not have been allowed to enter in the first place - they are from Dublin and the producers should have realised their supporters would have wanted to vote for them which is illegal under the present set up.....and Louis Walsh spouts on about rules!!! It was only by the telephone voting rules being broken that they lasted as long.
