I so agree! they were the best couple in the village! they should get back together, get married and then have a baby! would be a great storyline! please writers!!!

The best thing the producers could do is write these two out. 

Why should Carl get no come uppance for not only one but two murders. What happened to his wife and kids, they are never mentioned.

 Chas is annoying, aggressive and looks like a plastic doll.  Let them get married and move abroad - bye bye. 

 

I used to think Carl was a nice guy but he is so self centered, immature, unfeeling like when Barraclough got run over/killed it was as though he never knew her or she ever existed, he makes Matty look saintly,

and as for the witch(chas) common comes to mind, let them get married and fly off on her broom stick
