What a waste of time that was. The interview was over in minutes, and half of it was spent asking him stupid questions like how many gallons of coffee had they drunk on Heartbeat since it started.
I don't know what ITV are playing at with Heartbeat - they split up the series into 2 x 12 episodes which is fine, but then for some reason which defies logic, they stop HB at Episode 9 to show Wild at Heart, then bring HB back for the remaining 3. If there was a good reason for doing it, then why can't they tell us - but why couldn't WAH wait until after Ep.12 of HB?
I've emailed to ask, but there's no answer forthcoming.
