    Well done ITV.

It seriously needed this revamp, I was going to the BBC for Motorsport news Surprise

Now it looks better and I cant believe many on here dont like it!

Stop ya moaning please, ITV does something and you dont like it!!!!

They may change it but dont moan about it, its far better then some of the rubbish sites on ITV like many of the Enterainment Shows.

The site looks cool, although i feel the black and red could get tiresome.

    2 things though

    a) where are we going to be able to watch all the content they just promised us, practice sesions, press conferences etc

    b) i have a widescreen monitor and all the content of the site is squeezed into about half of my screen, i didn't previously have this issue.

Frankly I think the new layout is apalling. Too busy-looking, too bright, too hard on the eyes and not intuitive to use. My opinion? Scrap it and go back to old style. Well, you did ask.....

Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

Love it.. it draws me in further.. much more professional looking and the video now seems integral and not like a bolt on add on pushed to the periphery of the web site. I was suprised though that the practice sessions didnt have any ad breaks in them... someones missing a money trick there me thinks... and the adds are usually very good quality during Grand Prix  its just the timing of them one should watch out for.

On the whole probably the best F1 website in the world although F1 official is a close shave too.. but nothing outside the two comes close...

Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

RED TEXT ON BLACK BACKGROUND ??????? Red on black is the most common form of colour blindness. Extended use of this sight will result in eye strain and headaches for a high number of users.

Your (no doubt highly paid) graphics person obviously missed the most basic part of his graphic design course.

Another annoyance is that links no longer change colour when visited which slows down navigation when making sure that every item has been read... especially bad when suffering severe eye strain from trying to read red on black!

The new logo does have good initial impact but this is not what a news and information site is about. The MOST important thing with any web page is that it is easy to navigate and easy to read.

Really like the new look. Much more modern. Although there is a bit too much black.

    Too cluttered

It's pretty, but too cluttered. It's hard to find quickly what you want to access.  Way too much info. on one page.

Also the top menu, you need to click the right column first, then the main caption that apprears....clumsy.

The page has no main focus, somewhere for your eyes to jump to when the webpage opens. The official F1 page used to be the same, but is actually now easier to navigate than this one.

     Good, exciting colour scheme though.

Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

    Hi,

Firstly the website looks great and the info it contains is alson fantastic for the fanatical F1 Fan. All I would say is the the negative comments that have been received from certain areas should be disregarded as you have produced a website that is both eyecatching, informative and a joy to look at. People who dont like should look elswhere as I beleive that the ITV has now become an excellent team for F1 productions and the staff that produce the program, from in front of the camera to behind the scenes which includes website design can give themselves a big pat on the back.

The Murray Walker days are over and we have now moved on, this does not mean that Murray is no longer a legend as he always will be the voice of F1 but we have to move on at some stage.

Once again well done and good luck with the coming season.

Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

IT's much harder to navigate and so I can't all the thingd that I used to look at!

I wish we could still see the poll results and its really annoying that you can't select the topic from the list on the right-hand side of the main picture.

Re: New-look F1 website - What do you think?

A lot of ideas that were taken straight out of the Pitpass site.

I spent more time on the ITV site because it had a better flow which it has now lost.

The colours are too harsh together.

Although if your loosing F1 next year i'm not sure how much effort you'll really want to put into making it better...

This is an easy to follow web page, with lots of info which is easily obtainable and navigate to.  big thumbs up also pleasing to the eye.
