With Jed Stone coming back, who would you like to see rescurrected?  I personally would like to see Eddie Yates or Hilda come for a short visit, Billy Walker also.

 

Billy Walker (aka Ken Farrington) is too busy appearing in Emmerdale at the mo by all accounts.  I'd like to see Eddie (Onslow) Yates back though.  And Curly, Angie Freeman and Andy McDonald but it ain't gonna happen is it.  Once characters leave they very rarely come back (I guess the actors just move on to pastures new and don't really relish a resurrecting a character they played eons ago.  Bill Webster seems to be the only one to return on a permanent basis.  

 

Bet & Alec - they were the best double act on the programme imo.

I would love to see Curly return to the street, he was so good. I loved it when he settled down with Emma and started a family. The scenes from the babies birth with Curly, Emma and Norris were totally hilarious. (Ithink it was Emma)

Yes, Spider and Toyah were a good couple.

Spider, he could bring in some good story lines for Emily.

well he was rosie, but got chucked out of the window by his son carl and passed away xmas day2006, thats when i joined the wktk forum, it was a brilliant game to find out who killed tom king.? lasted for months and made some real true friends on it....

Tanya Pooley she was great and played by a fab actress..

Hilda Ogden would be a laugh to see - only as a one-off appearance though. I don't think she would fit in with the 21st century crowd. I think they should get some "old favourites" back for it's 50th anniversary in a couple of years time.

I would love Bet to come and visit Liz. As for the 50th anniversary I would love them to bring back Dennis Tanner!  Suzie Birchall could come back and make amends with Gail as she has no real friends nowadays! 

Karen for Steve.  The storyline with Michelle is getting boring and unfortunately they have ruined her character, who cares about her anymore?

Curly and family moving back would be good and would introduce some young characters into the street.

Would Eddie Yates be too old now to come back as the cellarman?

 

Curly most definitely but not that sour faced copper he married and we don't really need any more young characters - the street's already over-run with them as it is.  Couldn't stand loud-mouth Karen either - she was as bad as the fishwife he's living with now.

Agree about Eddie Yates though.

If he were still alive it would have been good to see Jack Howarth back in the programme and Stan Ogden.  And if they hadn't already killed him off Fred Eliott (why?? - he was one of the best actors in the street!)..
