Strange the way these characters hold the center stage for a couple of episodes and then disappear as though they no longer exist.  Why can't Michelle and Becky just disappear?

I think they also sang "Breaking Up is Hard To do" by Neil Sedaka.Could someone confirm this? Thanks!!

No I think Vernon mentioned it but he didn't sing it.  Wanted to put a brave face on it so he's hardly going to sing Breaking up is hard to do.  Amazed that he came to Roy's rescue in the cafe (what with Ken leaving him in the lurch). A new improved Vernon eager to help others instead of trying to dodge work.  Does that mean we get to keep him now?  Pretty please.
