I'm an image consultant and personal stylist and a Master of the Federation of Image Consultants. I thought T & S did a great job at promoting 'colour'. I think they did get a little mixed up with their warm & cool colours though. On the whole they said what most 'image' people have been saying for two decades; that black doesn't always have a slimming effect. On some colouring types it can work well and is still a great addition to any womens' wardrobe (about 5%!!). I've spoken to numerous women today who were left a little confused as the colur palettes seemed quite limited. I appreciate this but understand that in order not to overload people with too much information T & S narrowed it down to just 3 options. Most image consultants use 12 palettes (rather than the old 4 seasons - very 80's). My company uses 24 which gives total flexibility!
