Am I the only one annoyed at how Trinny & Susannah cheated on the focus group part of the show?  The lady who normally wears very fitted black clothes and looked very slim and stylish in them (I think it was Natalie?) they put in a baggy bell coat, a-line skirt and flip flops when being judged in black!!!!  No wonder she looked heavier in those than when she was in a fitted red dress and heels!!!

And I have to say I am fed up of the only reasons people give for wearing black is that it is slimming or they want to disappear or they are scared of colour.  I wear a lot of black because I think I it is a beautiful rich colour and it looks damn good on me and I feel fantastic in it.....so there!!!  I am told I look good in colour too but hey its my choice isn't it so I'm not going to let Trinny & Susannah try and make me feel bad.  They are far too sweeping with their advice...a bit of individuality would be nice.......

 

 

I thought that too.  To prove anything surely the ladies should have been dressed in the same outfit but just different colours - ie a black dress, and then exactly the same dress in red or some other colour.  It's not as if you can't get the same outfit in different colours so there really isn't an excuse.

 

yea some of the black clothes werent exactly 'slim fitting' but i can see what they are saying. i wear black sometimes because i think it looks smart. but i guess when people only ever wear black it gets a bit excessive. i think the idea was about not being scared to wear colour and that it can look better then black and can be slimming etc.
