    Credit Crunch

We have been living on Benefits for 4 years due to ill health. All the so called "Advice" given on how to save money is ok, but we have been doing that for all this time. Our benefits have dropped and our bills have gone up including Fuel and Food bills. We do not smoke, drink or gamble and we go out only to places where we do not have to spend money. We have no quality of life and it is getting harder and harder to deal with. We are being made to buy cheap food, sausages, burgers and poor quality veg to try to get by. We have nothing left to sell or "pawn" and are at rock bottom. Where is the help and advice for us!

There's the rub.  How do you cut back when you've already cut back as far as you can without actually starving to death.  Frustrating when you know full well your income is what some people give their kids in pocket money but such is life.

Im on benefits and keep watching all the programs telling people how to cut back etc. BUT.... no one tells people on benefits how to do it.Its only people who spend £150 a week on food,i get that to buy/pay for EVERYTHING! I am struggling badly!
