Local council's to search single mums knicker draw!!

Just heard it on the on the local radio, that some local councils may be applying for the right to search personal clothing cuboards of single mums claiming benefits. This is to establish, aparently, that they are entitled to the "single" aspect of their benefit claims! At last!!! A small ray  of justice is shining heading for all those fraudters out there!!! Yessssss............!!!!

Re: Local council's to search single mums knicker draw!!

Some time ago the local council was doing some work on local council rented properties.   One estate has many single mums on it.   Talking to one of the workmen who had been working on this estate.   He mentioned the strage coincedence that all the single mums seemed to use aftershave as he saw it in all the bathrooms he worked in.   Why would single a mum use aftershave, is it some kind of fetish?

It sounds as if some bent old councilor is just trying to get inti smome young ladies knickers to satisfy some need.   The truth about that particular need has not yet been disclosed despite the Freedom of Information Act.  However, noboby has come up with the reason so many 'single mums' have aftershave on the shelf.

i remember years ago when housing officials could call without warning to make sure your home was being maintained and kept clean.....should have  benefits officers to do likewise...or would that be a breach of privacy??   shouldnt be a problem if nothing to hide.

It still happens Kendra, case in point - one of my neighbours had a surprise call from the benefits and they caught her boyfriend lying on the couch watching telly so a difficult conversation ensued because she had declared as a single mum.

Serves them right, probably going to get a huge fine.

Aren't single mums allowed to have friends?

Yes blobbins, of course they are, but there are friends ans FRIENDS.   Cohabitation means they can no longer claim to be a single parent.

How many minutes can a friend stay before he is labelled a cohabitee?

Visiting friends dont leave aftershave in the bathroom! As for staying,(as I am led to understand)its no more than three nights in any one week  but it cannot be any three nights on the run.So if thats the case, there is no need for aftershave and the like to be in the bathroom at all.Similarly with clothes.

    Ho, Ho!

Probably less minutes than it takes for them to pull up their pants and clear their clothes out of the wardrobe
