Sue Jenkins was in Coronation St and Brookside (as Jackie Corkhill) and has been an actress for over 30 years. (theartre and TV) The one thing you are missing is that the way she looks in Emmerdale is just for the CHARACTER (she's not being herself!).Why do people assume that actors in Soap are playing themselves? The costumes and makeup (spray tan included) would have been thought through for the CHARACTER!
