nightuk, at the end of last year ITV, on the website,  asked viewers to write in with storyline ideas.

I'm sure what ever your idea is, it will be better that what they currently have.

You could sort out some of the characters exits while your at it because the current writers don't seem capable of giving anyone a decent exit.

The fans brobably could come up with better story lines than the writers. They at least know the characters and wouldn't change the way they feel at the drop of a hat.

Do the writers ever look at a history of the characters? I doubt it. They obviously do not know how much Carl and Chas loved each other. Remember he followed her to the army barracks and begged her to come back with him, he even killed his dad (albeit accidentally) because he bad mouthed her. Now he is in love with the airhead (and lousy actress) Lexi, who more ar less was blackmailing him a couple of weeks ago.
