    Jungle King 2008-Joe Swash

As forecast on my posting of 3 dec, Joe is the new King of the jungle, a worthy winner, providing constant entertainment and always willing to participate.  Martina a deserving runner up, displayed strength of body and mind, whilstGeorge remained a gentleman to the end.50 press-ups at 71 years of age wow.Even with the numerous altercations usually instigated by slimy DVD, they all seemed happy at the end.Have to go now, Securicor are dropping off my winnings.

And that's probably the last we'll ever hear of him (unless he's in panto at Christmas). Smile

Incidentally if the lad is as fantastic as we're all supposed to believe why was he sacked from Eastenders?  Huh?

You could be right, as the annoying Biggins.  The majority have a very short shelf life, but there's always an iceland ad.

I think the story lines for the Miller family had been exhausted and just one lad remains.  Can't remember his name but he works in the used car lot.

Thanks for the info.  I assumed, wrongly it seems, he had done something to merit the axe.  Should have known better really given the turnover on soaps these days - especially on the enders where, with a few exceptions, the cast seems to change every year.  If I were Joe Swash I'd be more ashamed to admit I'd worked on Eastenders than to admit I'd appeared on I'm a celeb to be honest.

    Re: Jungle King 2008-Joe Swash

Joe was bedridden with meningitis and encephalitis for a long while which led to the soap cutting his parts out. And when he did recover, he was unable to recapture Mickey's character. The producers finally put an end to the exhausting Miller storyline but as corny as it is, the entire crew seriously really missed his presence on set. Joe's personality can only be described as uplifting. He's always been a very popular, loved joker. He's a funny, really decent, selfless people person. My cous works for EE, they were all chuffed for him winning because he's just a genuine, lovely bloke. I love the guy.

Never mind Joe Swash.  When are we going to see the real star of the show this year (David Van Day) back on screen?
