    VAT lack of Judgement

The drop in VAT is ill judged and typical of a tired government seeking chep favours.    Unfortunately few of the Cabinet have ever held proper jobs so they have no idea of the workload required to implement the change.    Furthermore it only drops prices from £117.50 tt £115, abot 2% anyone making a cut would have been doing it anyway, the panic price cutting to stave off liquidation will be claimed as due to the Chancellor  -  not true.

However when the rate is restored to 17.5% there will be a further workload and a wonderful excuse for all businesses to raise prices.  Since this will be under a Conservative Chancellor we shall then get Labour blaming the new government.

This is a very true statement and at the moment they cant blame the conservatives for the mess we are in regarding finances as they have been in power a while with Gordon Brown himself handling the countrys finances. He has caused it and he has no one to blame..Sure they are all okay financially though they will allways make sure they are..
