Why is Camilla so catty about the 'Real Women' the program represents??

 

For instance, I have just watched her say, 'These girls are SO much bigger than professional models...', and 'What they lack in body shape...' What they LACK???  They lack nothing, they are beautiful, representative women.

 

I think she needs to watch how she speaks about the women, as it's these attitudes that women are trying to overcome, here.

I totally agree with you, I have been on the programme (h samuel) and was on the end of her comments, also I heard her say to Coleen "you must have spoken to all the prettys ones all day because I havent!!" at the Sony casting on TV. I think Coleen would take different women through but she seems to have a big impact on the choice I had never heard of her before this programme either!!!

Hey zuzana28 I saw an ad in Closer mag it said Coleen is looking for real women to star in the show. it said go to itv/coleen something like that. you only had to fill in the norm stuff age/sex/location and attach a pic full length and close up. They get in touch right away and tell you to look at your email as they have invited you to a casting day!!! good luck it is really enjoyable !! :-)

Hi, i was one of the final 3 in the holiday skin campaign and camilla said some hurtful things about me like 'i was not classically beautiful' and 'she was worried about me the most out of the final 10 as my figure was not that of a model' - maybe because im not a model??

 I guess in that industry you have to expect those kind of comments, your there to be judged on your body i guess.

I guess camillas comments like that make for more interesting viewing? i was also in the final 3 with sophie and caroline and camilla did go on a fair bit at me about toning up and how my haircut didnt suit my face (unfortuntaly a hairdresser had got far to scissor happy, and i didnt like my hair either so i did agree with her there!!) But i must admit camillas comments about my figure did make me very concious about my weight...kinda defeats the object of the show when they are trying to use a wide variety of girls for the campaigns!

I really dont think she does! I got to the final 10 of the kitkat show, i was so embarrassed - camilla poked my belly and said umm well not the tonest stomach ive seen! Well course its ***not i  (yes i would love to have a flat toned stomach) but im too lazy to work out in the gym for 6hrs a day! Every day! who would! im not saying that real women dont have toned bodies etc, but the adverage woman doesnt! they enjoy eating rubbish foods and enjoying good old lazy days! I might go the gym occassionally afterwork, but i enjoy chilling out on a weekend and doin very little! For Camilla to do and say things like that to people i think its awful, and really puts down your self confidence.. i wouldnt say shes so perfect herself!

I agree with all the above comments. If there is another series I hope they find someone else, because Camilla just does not get what this show is supposed to be about and I fear she has too much sway over Coleen and who is picked.
