    HUGE BOOBS!!!!!!!!

    Hi

I'm normally a 32H and wear size 12's on my bottom half. Having had big boobs since I was 12 (E cups back then!) I'm used to not having much choice in the bra department. Thank god for Bravissimo!! They can just about cater for my size. Normally!

However I've just had a baby and my boobs have gone from big to huge!!

At 8 months pregnant I went to my nearest M&S (I couldn't be bothered with going into London to Bravissimo) and the lady there said I was a 38 J! I laughed at her and told her my normal size and then asked what size their own brand of bras went up to - predictably she told me they went up to a J cup!!!

I ended up at Bravissmo ( where I should of gone in the first place) and was measured as a 34L for a nursing bra - and they warned me that it would get tight once my milk came!!  They had to specially order 2 nursing bras from the one and only label that actually go up to this size. I was grateful for the bra! but dissapointed again at the lack of choice seeing as how bravissimo cater for big boobs yet they only had one bra that went beyond a H cup. What do other women do when they're pregnant???? Please tell me!

I'm now breastfeeding and am back in my size 12 jeans but am still having to wear the hideous size 34L nursing bra as it's still the best fit by far!!!!!!!!

    Re: HUGE BOOBS!!!!!!!!

I think I am am a 36H but as I have never been measured properly I could be completely wrong.  I would love to have a pretty bra that also gives loads of support but the bigger bras tend to be very plain or like something your great grandmother would have worn!!!

Also why are these bigger bras so expensive compared to "normal" sizes - surely we don't use that much extra material!

I know!!! It's ridiculas how expensive bigger bras are! I can only ever afford to buy 1 at a time, - my sister can great really pretty bras for less than a tenner in high street shops! It's not fair.

Bravissimo is ridiculously expensive I recommend the range of underwear by Simply Be, they do really nice styles and are very reasonably priced :)

    Re: HUGE BOOBS!!!!!!!!

I know EXACTLY what you mean - I am going through what you have just described at the moment. I was 32FF/34FF pre-pregnancy and size 12. Have had to buy bigger bras 3 times during my pregnancy - all from specialist shops -  and am now in a very uncomfortable 40H. I have just been fitted for a nursing bra at Bravissimo (a special 1hr journey purely to visit a shop that stocks bras any bigger than H cup....) and ordered two 34L bras in preparation for giving birth in the coming days/weeks. Having done loads of internet research it seems that that brand and style is the only one available anywhere in the world. However, I have found a website that specialises in maternity/nursing bras and they also mention a Bravado Custom bra that might fit up to 34L - so I might try that too. What happens if I'm too big for the bra once the milk comes, I've no idea!  I'm sure I can't be the only woman in this situation - what does everyone else do? There is a gap in the market - enterprising bra manufacturers please note!

    Re: HUGE BOOBS!!!!!!!!

    Hi

I watched the show the other night one thing I was hoping to see was a list of good places to visit to purchase big but sexy looking bra for big woman.  My wife is 5’11” tall and at least a 42H size bust.  Does anyone out there have a good website or know of a good shop where we can purchase some good looking bras and get a good measuring done on my wife. we live in Cornwall but we don't mind travelling.

    Thanks

I don't have problems with my boobs but I think that you could find some great things on google.....some of them are really cheap. You should try to search some bras there.

    Re: HUGE BOOBS!!!!!!!!

But Evans and Simply Be are for larged-sized women.

What about women who are slim but have big boobs?

    Re: HUGE BOOBS!!!!!!!!

Leia has a brilliant website and shop - The elomi range is the most comfy-est bras I have ever put my breasts in, and give excellent support and make my boobs look booby-lisious!  Well worth a visit in store on on line
