insensitive handling of the stillbirth story

Can I just say that my heart breaks for the couple who were on the show today talking about the loss of their beautiful baby girl.

I am devastated that they have been so let down by the lack of support from the health service (who should have offered them counselling in the first place) that they have felt the need to expose themselves in such a way, when they are obviously very vulnerable.

I think the show has let them down very very badly:
    1) only 10 minutes?! You spend half an hour discussing much more trivial problems!!
    2) Of course they named her! She was a real person! And a very loved one at that!
    3) 'Move on' is the worst thing you can say to a bereaved parent (I know, I lost my baby too). You have to learn to live with the pain, but it doesn't go away, it doesn't get easier, and you never, never, 'move on'!
    4) No mention of support groups where people REALLY understand! like the SANDS (stillbirth and neonatal death) forums and helplines - if the show was really about helping people, (rather than just exploiting their stories), then they should have done something to help all the other bereaved parents out there who have yet to find the help they so desperately need!

the show has reached an all time low for me and I dread to think what sort of 'help' this couple are being offered if they will be told to 'move on' - I just hope they find SANDS soon - only other angel mummies and daddies can truly understand...

JEREMY - DO YOUR RESEARCH - SPEAK TO SANDS BEFORE YOU EVEN ATTEMPT TO TOUCH ON THIS INCREDIBLY SENSITIVE SUBJECT!!
